Do you want to make $10,000? Of course you do. Who wouldn’t want that kind of juicy income each and every month. Unfortunately, unless you have some really high profile gig, there could be a chance that you’ll never see this kind of cash. Or, could you?
While this sounds like a lot of money, it’s not completely far fetched. There are a number of ways that you actually accomplish this goal. Here’s the thing though. It’s just not going to happen instantly. It could take months before you could make $10,000 a month. But, it is possible if you’re willing to put in the effort.
So if you’re ready to get to work, here are some suggestions on how to make $10,000 a month...

Become a Consultant
No matter what your unique set of skills are, you could put them to use as an consultant. What’s promising about being a consultant is that you could do this on the side in addition to your current job or as a way to bring in some extra income while getting your startup up and running. This could be a lot of work for you to do, but it’s an option if you’re looking to make some cold hard cash.
But, how can you make $10,000 a month from being a consultant?
Well, that depends. If you’re the best there is in a specialized field, you can charge a pretty hefty amount. For example, the rate for a chemical engineer could very easily be somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 per hour. Even if you were not making that much an hour, consultants in the more common fields can charge anywhere between $65 to $100 per hour. So, if you worked 25 hours per week on a job that paid $100 an hour, you would have the coveted ten grand in a month. Just remember that as consultant you have to pay for your own overhead, taxes, etc. That’s why you can charge a little bit more.
I started doing this part time around 6 years ago while I was working at a hosting company. I now do this full time. I really enjoy it and it’s by far the easiest way to make $10k/month. All you have to do is find 3-4 good clients that you will complete amazing work on a monthly basis.
Host Workshop/Training
If you’re really proficient at a certain technology or are up on the latest gadget or software, don’t be surprised if a company would hire you to instruct their employees or staff on how to use this new technology. Having employees learn this information is extremely valuable to a company and they would be willing to throw you a lot of money for you to host a workshop.
You could also provide training, meaning that you get people to sign-up and you charge a fee for the session. What’s great about this is that this could be applied to anything from personal training to how to operate a new software system. Depending on the field, you can charge a lot of money for training. For example, it’s not unheard of for some industry people charge $1,000 for two-days of training. If you get 10 people on board, you’ve made that $10,000.
Either on top of this, or in addition to, you could also charge people for short video tutorials, as opposed to doing an onsite workshop. Or, you could launch a membership site that provides videos and advice for a flat monthly fee.
Making Money Online
If you have a product or service to sell online, then it is possible to bring in $10,000 every month. The problem is that it can take a very long time. Derek Halpern from Social Triggers suggests that you start with something a little more obtainable and keep plugging away. Eventually, you should be able to achieve that dream goal.
Of course, there’s other ways to make money online as well. In fact, you may be able to combine your efforts. Let’s say that you have a blog, you can eventually earn $10,000 a month via advertising. That’s what happened with Frugaling.org. The site’s creator Sam achieved this by continuing to bring in readers over the course of 6 months. You could do this by using something like Google AdSense; which are ads that are displayed on your site and you make money whenever a visitor clicks on that ad.
Finally, you could do some good old affiliate marketing. Basically, you do this by simply promoting a product. For example, you blog about a product that’s sold on Amazon and then a visitor clicks on the link to purchase said product from Amazon. Amazon, in return, gives you a little something for the sale. This could take a long time to accumulate $10,000 but once you’ve established yourself as a reliable source and built a fanbase, it’s possible.
Develop App, Game or Software
If you have the ability to develop an app, game or piece of software, then you probably have a great chance at cashing in on your talents. We recently came across an add from the ROBLOX Corporation that was offering to pay game developers $10,000 per month.
As for apps, if you were able to develop, market and release a couple of apps, you could eventually make that goal of ten grand a month. Since 68% of developers make $5,000 or less with their most successful app, this will also take some and dedication.
And, let’s not forgot about software developers. If a developer were to work for a company, they could be earning an average salary of $93,280, which would roughly come out to being $10,000. So, just imagine how much this individual could clear if they were freelance.
Writing
Do you know who else can make $10,000 a month? Writers.
For starters, there are copywriters. These are the people who curate everything from jingles, online ads, emails, web page content and even social media campaigns for companies advertising campaigns. It’s been said that the best copywriters can make thousands of dollars for just one single sales letter. If you want to be taken more seriously as an author, then you could just write a best selling novel. Aright. That may be a little challenging, but it’s not unheard of. More common, however, are people making $10,000 a month selling erotic novels on Amazon. According to the Huffington Post, here is how one author named Marla accomplished this task:

She focused on making her books an average of 10,000 words, with an average price of $2.99
She wrote books in series
She looked and learned what books sold, and what books didn't. Then emulated those successes and stayed away from the failures.
Apparently, smut sells. But, that doesn’t mean you’re restricted to that genre. You could find another successful genre that is selling and use the same simple approach. Or, you could just use a pen like Marla and go with what works.
Making $10,000 seems like an unattainable task, but it can be done if you devote the right amount of time and dedication into making it happen. After all, it’s not going to just fall into your lap overnight. You have to earn it.
