1. Snake Plant

2. Areca Palm
If you are looking for a tall, leafy plant, the areca palm may be a good fit. If space allows, this plant can grow up to 30 feet. But as long as you keep it in a small container, the size will be stunted. Make sure you don’t keep it in direct sunlight or the leaves will turn yellow. You should also ensure that you don’t water this plant too much – just enough to keep the soil moist.

Once repotted, do not water it for a few days (until the roots have had time to settle). Aloe vera is known to be used in many DIY beauty regimes like a homemade face mask. They are also great for clearing formaldehyde and benzene (a byproduct of cleaning products, paints, etc.) from the air.

Basil is a great plant that you can keep in a pot on your kitchen window sill. This little plant helps to purify the air. It also has many medicinal properties and can be used in your cooking. All it requires is a little watering and this plant will thrive.
6. Money Plant
One of the most popular low light indoor plants, the money plant (pothos) is easy to grow in soil and water. It’s also known as ‘devil’s Ivy’ because it’s almost impossible to kill. All you need to do is get a clipping and place it in a pot with water or soil. This plant does not require much sunlight and people keep them all over the house, including the bathroom. 7. Lucky Bamboo
The lucky bamboo is not a member of the bamboo family, even though the shoots look similar, but is actually a member of the Dracaena genus. These are usually grown in water and much like the money plant, these plants are also extremely low maintenance. They do really well in some light, but can also thrive in shadier areas. According to feng shui practice, lucky bamboo plants bring good luck and prosperity to the owner, especially if it was gifted by someone.
