How to maintain a rich mindset

My human medical physiology Professor said the best way to maintain and improve health is at university is exercise and dieting, but 21st-century people are lazy and prefer a pill. The result is long term healthcare costs will continue to rise; it's much easier to be a useless bag of mostly water than a productive bag of mostly water.

Sometimes I wonder if my generation is the only one where, after we've been told we're all going to die, the only reaction is to pop a pill. A pill that's "helping" to control our mind and body to control our bodies and mind. Our sedentary lives have been hijacked by some natural substance, pumped into us like crack, and there's no stopping the inevitable slide into mania and depression.

Please don't take this as an attack on medication because I'm not. The possibility that brain chemistry might be altered by one of the many high-caffeine, low-calorie, chemically stimulating chemicals pumped into us is a serious topic. As a scientist myself, I'm willing to acknowledge the potential danger. But the scientific proof that such a situation exists is weak at best.

Put another way, I'd like to meet the 100 person study that's been done that suggests being on antidepressants makes you more violent. I can't find it, and I don't expect to see it because "pharmaceutical companies no longer fund active ingredient" studies. And while we're on that topic, I'm pretty sure most surveys have shown people are no more likely to use violence to solve their problems if they don't take antidepressants than if they do.

And yet, somehow, instead of living in a world where it's recognized that all information should be free and free speech should be encouraged, we're living in a world where the safe, sane, sane world is something we have to be cured of. We are not all going to die from a painful infection or even a sudden illness; we're all going to die from not using medication to support our brains and bodies.

What a depressing future that will be.

pfroflmao. This is why you should always follow the news up to the last possible minute. After that, you are pretty much just taking your own opinions and reading them from news sources.

The primary things never change.

To the allegations of encouraging violence, let me say that we have never, ever inspired violence. Ever. You might have heard it written out like that, but it's not what we say. Our goal is to describe the problems inherent in society and help you become a part of the solution. For anyone who is a strong individual with a sound mind and brain, that is the only thing that can make any sense of what we do.

The rules are that not one word of truth shall be presented. Everyone will be thought, described, etc., and never allowed to express any opinion of their own. Everything that will be said will favor the global police state and the powers that are.
