Top 20 points naturally lower your blood pressure.

How to lower your blood pressure by 20 points naturally?

First thing is that there is a lot of information out there about blood pressure and of course people talk about how important lifestyle is

But no one knows about it. Doesn't talk about what kind of benefits you can expect.

Blood pressure readings are also very important along with lifestyle.

So let's begin.

High blood pressure is a major health challenge and one of the main reasons why

It is so prevalent.

Because rapidly developing countries are now adopting western lifestyles.

Which leads to sedentary behavior, physical inactivity, calorie consumption, high-fat foods, high sodium intake, and excessive stress.

It is also well-recognized; that excessively high blood pressure numbers can be initially associated with damage to the body on a microscopic level. And then years later

that damage can start to show up in stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, and so on.

Reduction of high blood pressure through lifestyle and medication is emphasized by healthcare organizations worldwide.

When I asked a doctor about blood pressure, the doctor said:

One of the things I've learned in my career in medicine is that

whenever we're dealing with high numbers and potential harm, so we should not always think that it is the number that is causing the damage.

It is also possible that the number is symbolic of a more general underlying process that is causing harm, so in some ways, the number is symbolic of something that is causing harm.

If the number itself is responsible for the loss, it certainly makes sense to reduce the number aggressively.

If the number is indicative of an underlying process, making the number look better can prevent the underlying problem from being discovered,

which can then lead to loss.

Even though the data looks good, let me give you an example, just a very basic example, if you have regular migraines, taking a pain reliever every day will relieve your pain

If other is your migraines or headaches are due to an underlying brain tumor, simply taking a pain reliever every day will relieve the pain.

That is the outward manifestation of a brain tumor, and therefore can lull you into a false sense of security that you are fine.

Although a brain tumor continues to grow and can harm you,

that's the whole idea behind blood pressure.

I think in most cases of high blood pressure the numbers are often a sign of an unhappy body and mind and yes indeed, the numbers themselves can cause additional damage if the numbers are not checked.

As I said, the current management of blood pressure is through lifestyle changes and medication.

While they may be equally effective in bringing numbers down the way they do, fundamentally different drugs bring numbers down more easily, and by doing so they can prevent damage,

this may be because they do so because the number is so high in the long run. Basic processes don't do much for lifestyle.

On the other hand, it makes you a healthier person and therefore can help deal with the underlying process and buying and doing, thus reducing the number.

Unfortunately, a lot of modern medical management focuses more on the easy solution which is giving patients drugs instead of focusing on lifestyle.

In this article, I wanted to talk to you about some lifestyle changes you can make, and how much of a difference those changes can make in the numbers.

So like I said in that, I'm going to talk about some lifestyle changes that you can make, and you'll see that if you're able to incorporate them all into your life, you'll be Can lower your blood pressure per 20 mm of mercury.

The first is weight.

We know that being overweight leads to high blood pressure, and that patients with virtually all types of heart disease who have a body mass index greater than 30 have nearly double the risk of developing resistant high blood pressure. Becomes, which is probably the worst form of blood pressure.

Which does not respond to treatment and causes more damage than any other form.

Obesity is associated with many processes that are harmful to the body, including inflammation, sympathetic over activity, decreased nitric oxide levels, and even physical shrinkage of the kidneys from visible fat.

Try to reach your ideal body weight wherever you are.

Again thinking about weight loss but, most research points to the fact that for every kilogram of body weight your systolic blood pressure will drop by one millimeter of mercury if the above value is reduced by less than one.

So if you lose 10 kg of body weight you gain an extra 10 kg, then losing it will lower your blood pressure by 10 mm Hg.

Another thing I would say about weight loss is that it's always good to not only focus on weight but try to focus on your body shape over body fat percentage.

If you're centrally obese, I think it's really important to work with body fat percentage and try to change body shape, because I think it plays a big role, especially viscerally fat etc.

With mercury, you can lose, and you can go down 10 kg.

Now, I accept that some of you may not have any weight to lose.

So the next thing we'll go to is diet.

The average American diet contains about 3.4 grams of sodium per day.

The usual recommendations are no more than 2.3 grams per day.

If we reduce our salt intake, if we aggressively try to reduce our salt intake to less than 1.5 grams per day, or even if we can reduce our salt intake to less than one gram per day.

We can expect to lower our systolic blood pressure to about five millimeters of mercury.

So cutting back on your salt and being aggressive about doing just that can lower your blood pressure by up to five.

Likewise, if you increase your potassium intake, it is good for your blood pressure.

There was an article in the American Journal of Nutrition that suggested that the average intake of potassium is about 1.7 to 1.8 grams per day.

The usual recommended amount from the National Dietary Guidelines is 4.7 grams per day.

So if we can aim to increase our potassium intake by 3.5 to 5 grams per day through diet, we can expect to see an average.

Another four to five millimeters of mercury drop in our systolic blood pressure reading.

So just paying attention to your salt and paying attention to your potassium can bring your blood pressure down to about nine millimeters of mercury.

There is a diet that is recommended that is low sodium, and high potassium called the DASH diet.

And it increases the intake of fruits, vegetables, fiber, and low-fat, dairy products in addition to increasing the intake of low sodium and potassium.

And if you follow this type of diet, research shows you can lower your blood pressure by an average of 11 millimeters of mercury.

if you can replace animal protein with plant protein,

if you can avoid refined carbohydrates, avoid processed meats, avoid sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened beverages,

All the changes can have a huge impact on your overall health.

And you hope that the mercury in the blood pressure readings drops by about ten to eleven millimeters.

If you then combine this with a magnesium supplement, the magnesium supplement will lower your blood pressure by one or two millimeters of mercury.

And

If you take an omega-3 fatty acid supplement, fish oil, it can lower your blood pressure by another four millimeters of mercury.

So, diet alone can easily lower your blood pressure by 10 to 15 mm Hg,

if you follow the DASH diet, low sodium, high potassium and magnesium, and fish oil.

Another thing about food that people drink regularly is alcohol.

Reducing the amount of alcohol, you drink to less than one drink a day can lower blood pressure by an average of four millimeters of mercury.

Already by targeting diet alone, you can bring your blood pressure down to 15 or more mm Hg, which is a huge drop.

If you think most medications don't achieve this kind of reduction, it's incredibly useful to know about the dosage and how beneficial it is for high blood pressure.

The next thing to talk about is exercise.

Now, in my mind, physical activity and exercise are probably one of the best treatments out there for virtually all forms of chronic disease.

Exercise is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory agents in all of the medicine.

Exercise is also a very meditative experience, and yet in this sense relieves stress.

Exercise is also very safe, yet 50% of all adults in the US do not meet minimum physical activity recommendations. Exercise in general is a good idea.

But when you start exercising, it's a good idea to start with a low intensity such as a slow walk, and then try and reach the recommended levels.

Although exercise is generally safe, it is always good.

 To take things slowly

If you can, the current recommendation is that you should aim for a total amount of 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise per week. Moderate aerobic exercise means brisk walking at 4 miles per hour, biking at 5 to 9 miles per hour, ballroom dancing, recreational swimming, yoga, etc.

For 150 minutes of this throughout the week. Have a good amount of Exercise for your blood pressure.

You can exercise vigorously, and you probably only need to do 75 minutes of vigorous exercise per week to have a really good effect on your blood pressure numbers.

I mean jogging, running, biking, swimming laps over 10 mph,

playing tennis, singles tennis.

This kind of thing doesn't matter whether you do these exercises in short-duration sessions

or you do them in long-duration sessions.

It's the overall amount of exercise you do in a week that matters.

If you increase the amount of exercise, you gain more, but the additional benefit diminishes, and so, what I'm trying to say is that doing something is much better than doing nothing, and doing more A little is better than doing nothing.

So, the more you can do the better, but use at least some, and it can be very effective in lowering blood pressure itself.

Most people would say, if you do aerobic exercise, you're trying to get your blood pressure down to about four to five millimeters of mercury...

It's also important to talk about different forms of exercise. Is.

Dynamic aerobic exercise involves regular and purposeful movement of large muscle groups

or vigorous physical activity

Such as cycling, running, and dancing.

If you do it regularly, you try and get 150 minutes of it per week, you'll lower your blood pressure by about three to four millimeters of mercury.

Similarly, another form of exercise is dynamic resistance exercise.

This is where the exercise is done by effort against an opposing force, such as lifting weights, and is less studied than Arabic dynamic exercise.

But what we do know about resistance training is that

It is not harmful to high blood pressure and can lower your average blood pressure reading by up to 2.7 mm Hg.

Finally, there is an isometric resistance exercise.

It is characterized by continuous muscle contraction without any change in muscle length or joint angle.

Examples of this are planks or sitting against a wall without a chair.

It's a form of exercise that hasn't been studied very well yet, but what we do know is that it's not harmful to people with high blood pressure, and it's probably beneficial, so your exercise

Whatever, the form can be lowered easily by 20 mm.

You would usually need two different drugs to try and get this kind of result, so it's worth doing it right. Hope you found it useful.
