How to loss weight?

Almost any diet will work if it helps you take in fewer calories. Diets do this in two main ways: getting you to eat certain "good" foods and/or avoid "bad" ones. Changing how you behave and the ways you think or feel about food.

Set realistic goals. Know where you are today, so you know how to get where you want to be. Understand how much and why you eat. Use a food diary or tracking app to understand what, how much, and when you're eating. Manage portion sizes. Make smart choices. Be physically active.

A simple way to create a meal plan is to make sure that each meal consists of 50 percent fruit and vegetables, 25 percent whole grains, and 25 percent protein. Total fiber intake should be 20-30 grams daily.

The following foods are healthful and often rich in nutrients:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Fish.
  • Legumes.
  • Nuts.
  • Seeds.
  • Whole grains.

Foods to avoid eating include:

  • Foods with added oils, butter, and sugar.
  • Fatty red or processed meats.
  • Baked goods.
  • Bagels.
  • White bread.
  • Processed foods.

Weight loss is a gradual process, and a person may feel discouraged if the pounds do not drop off at the rate that they had anticipated. Some people might need to reset their goals, potentially by adjusting the total number of calories they are aiming to eat or changing their exercise patterns.

One thing is to keep a positive outlook and be persistent in working toward overcoming the barriers to successful weight loss.

A reasonable weight loss goal o start seeing health benefits is a 5-10 percent reduction in body weight over a 6-month time frame.

Instead of three large meals a day, aim for five “mini-meals” of breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus two healthy snacks. These meals won't expand your stomach excessively, but will help you stay full and satisfied. Slow down.

Rice is low in fat and is an easily digestible, gluten-free grain that offers a number of B vitamins as well. In order to lose weight, you must create a calorie deficit by eating fewer calories than you are able to burn on a daily basis.

Bananas are good for weight loss because they have fiber, which slows digestion and keeps you full.  Eat up to one banana a day as part of a healthy diet for weight loss.

Papaya helps break down dietary proteins and is often used to tenderize meat. It's also sold in supplemental form to help improve digestion. However, while papaya may improve your digestion, there's no convincing evidence that it promotes weight loss or fat burning.

Water can be really helpful for weight loss. It is 100% calorie-free, helps you burn more calories and may even suppress your appetite if consumed before meals. The benefits are even greater when you replace sugary beverages with water. It is a very easy way to cut back on sugar and calories.

Sufficient water intake helps in flushing out toxins from the body and gives a boost to the metabolism. And drinking a glass or two of warm water in the morning can help you in losing weight and belly fat. It will help in cleansing your system.
