Many people believe that weight loss is a painful thing. To change those stubborn pounds, you have to be hungry all the time. Many are afraid to even set a goal of losing weight because they cannot tolerate the thought of hunger and frustration that it brings.
For most people, it is better to be overweight than to suffer from hunger.
So who can blame them?
If the only way to lose weight or lose weight was to always starve, very few people who could have their ideal weight and a large part of the world would be overweight! It is not necessary.
Our bodies are an amazing tool. It is truly amazing! Its natural rhythm and internal function tell us when we are hungry. It has a protective mechanism that informs you when you need to save fuel. The hunger signal informs you that you NEED food to maintain a healthy level of energy and to have the necessary resources to heal, repair and maintain your cells. Severe hunger pangs are a strong signal to keep the body in danger and, you need to eat fast to regain its balance. These symptoms should not be ignored!
Your body does not know that food is plentiful and that it is one of the cheapest things of the 21st century. Your body works just as the bodies of your ancient ancestors did. The general structure of the human body has not changed at all since. Where your ancient ancestors lived in caves, they relied on their hunting ability to find food for themselves. Sometimes they went for days or weeks without killing, and the body sent them signs that they were in serious danger. When they eat fast, they are still in a state of self-preservation, storing as much energy as they could as FAT! Your body works just as well today.
Hunger just doesn’t work. It is not natural to think that you can starve yourself and lose weight. Yes you can find something different when people don’t take anywhere near enough food to make a living, but we are all the results of this type of diet!
Therefore, we know that starvation foods do not work and you do not want to spend 2 hours a day in the gym. So how do we lose weight? The good news is that you do not have to be hungry to lose weight. And you do not need to exercise too much. The fact is, eating a balanced diet and allowing your body to fill up with contentment is a key to achieving and maintaining a healthy, slim body. By not allowing yourself to become hungry you will actually avoid overeating - which is a common occurrence when you break the diet.
Alternatively five or six meals, very small, healthy snacks separated during your day. Instead of eating three large meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner, divide 6 equal meals instead and eat small meals between breakfast and lunch, one between lunch and dinner and if you are hungry later eat something else. . Try to avoid the last meal near bedtime, anytime up to 2 hours before bedtime.
Do not wait when you feel hungry. Eat as soon as you can. If you wait a long time before eating your body will go into a state of panic, imagine that you do not have enough resources to feed yourself and you will eat too much! Therefore, eating a simple but moderate diet will help keep your body satisfied and you will not have too many opportunities for overeating.
Do not miss a meal in the hope that it will help burn more calories. You may believe that by skipping meals you will save some calories or fatty foods, but, as you have seen, the opposite often happens. In addition, if you go for a long time without food, you may be overweight when you are full and you may not be able to feel hungry again.
Have you noticed that by skipping meals you actually slow down the digestive system? Because your body thinks there is a shortage of food you not only store more fat but also reduce the amount of fat burning. The natural life cycle of the body is initiated, you put on extra weight and burn a few calories and fat. As the body burns fat to convert into energy you will find that you are losing energy and tired. Hunger just doesn’t work!
In addition to eating a small regular diet you should also teach yourself to eat less. Put your knife and fork down between the bites and chew for a few seconds longer than usual. It can take us twenty minutes to see that the body is full and completely satisfied. If you eat fast "insert" food into you before you have time to see the "full" signal your body sends to your brain. When you eat at a slower pace you start to notice these symptoms from your body and train yourself to recognize them early.
Take an extra 15 minutes a day. To some of you this may sound like a lot. But all you have to do is separate it all day. Walk to work for another 5 minutes and then walk to a remote bus stop or park the car 5 minutes farther than you normally do. At lunch take a 5 minute walk or take the stairs instead of the elevator. Go to the local store instead of driving. It’s easy to spend 15, 30 or hours of daily exercise if you split like this. And remember, don't starve yourself, it just doesn't work!
