How to lose 20 kilograms without training hard and strict diet?

To start with, I was not always a fit person, and when I say that, I don't mean I was a few kilograms higher than my BMI; I was a class, 2 obese people. As an obese person, I went through a lot of criticisms and body shaming. It always made me feel insecure about my body. It was in the 2020 Covid lockdown when I decided to get in shape. I had no access to the gym, but that doesn't stop me from reaching my goal. So, I'm going to share the top 5 tips that kept me going, and yes, of course, you can definitely achieve your goals with these.

# 1 Count your calories

Well, this is something everyone out there would recommend you. But, this is the prime important tip that really helps you achieve your weight loss goal. You don't have to starve but follow portion control. Eat 500 - 300 calories less than your maintenance calories. Personally, I followed a 1200- 1500 calorie diet, and at the same time, I didn't skip my favorite foods. It's always ok to reward yourself for the hard work you put in. So, in just a week or two of following your calorie deficit diet, you'll definitely feel and see the difference in your weight. I can assure you. So, mind your calories.

# 2 Hydrate!! Hydrate!!

As you all know, water! Water! Water ! is a game-changer. The more you keep yourself hydrated, the more toxins you flush out of your body. Drink at least 3-4 liters of water per day to stay hydrated. And you'll find yourself micturating more often, getting the toxins and unnecessary electrolytes out of your system. So drink water.

# 3 Workout

Ohh yes!! Guys, come on. If someone says that you can lose weight without any workouts, nope!!! It doesn't work that way. We, of course, have to work out, but it doesn't mean that it should be a heavy workout. Just stroll around for a while; that's a workout. Do household chores; that's a workout. It's all about getting our system moving. But when it comes to weight loss, where you gotta burn more calories, try some at-home cardio and HIIT workouts as I did. Personally, I followed some fitness YouTubers, and yeah, I saw visible results. Start with 10 minutes and if you really love the burn and enjoy it, go ahead bro, you've got millions of workout videos out there on YouTube. Rock it!!

# 4 Rest

Hurray!! My favorite part, though. Rest your body. That's the most important thing to keep you going. Sleep at least 6-8 hours a day. It calms your mind and body and refreshes you. I can't say more about this, you know. Just sleep! Stop scrolling through social media every night. Lol.

# 5 Laugh

You heard it right. Hahahahah. Yes!!! Laugh out loud. Keep yourself happy through the entire journey, and yes, of course, till the end of your life. Nothing can keep us energetic as happiness does. Laughing increases the antibody production in your body. Yes, guys!! It does. Keep yourself happy and achieve.

Most importantly,
When it comes to losing weight, it is

50% diet

25% workout

25% rest

To conclude, don't let anything stop you from reaching your goal. I did lose motivation at times, but I didn't give up. And that leads me to attain a better physique. Believe yourself.
If I can do it, you also definitely can!!
Love yourself, guys. See y'all in another post.
Lots of love.
