How to learn social media skills

Who to Tag and Whom Not:-

Nowadays people tag each other on social media.  It is very common to tag someone on a post.  However, when you tag someone who wants to be invisible, you haven't even seen them and that person doesn't want to appear in front of their family or others for some reason, it can be costly to tag them.  Whenever you tag someone, get their permission first.  If someone tags a person without asking or they don't like it, they can report you i.e. can also complain to you.  This may block your account.  Apart from this, do not tag people and pages that have nothing to do with your post.  Sometimes not only children but adults also make this mistake.

 Do not share personal information:-

Do not share any kind of personal information on social media.  Such as mobile number, pen number, aadhar card number, home address, etc.  Nowadays people share their very personal, family photos and detailed information about the house on social media platforms.  Doing so should be avoided.  The photos and information you share may be used in the wrong way.

Your profile should not be public: -

Nowadays children keep their profiles public to increase likes, comments, and followers.  With this, anyone can view the profile and extract personal information.  Apart from this, if you share a photo or video on social media, keep it's setting private or keep it limited.  By going to the privacy settings, keep the privacy of photos, videos, friends list as 'Only Friends', do not make it public.

Create hashtags for work, not useless: -

Hashtags are in full swing, but instead of useless hashtags, make hashtags related to content.  The main purpose of sharing any content on social media is that it can reach as many people as possible and hashtags can help you in this work.  Hashtags work to make your post reach as many people as possible.

Do not like some news even by mistake: -

Some people on social media put news just for the sake of giving information and children like them without thinking.  Do not like news of any sad news like death or accident etc.  By liking, the person in front can understand that you have liked the news.  Doing so can make the person posting the news sadly.  Either skip this kind of news or give feedback by commenting if it is very important.

 Greetings without knowing -

Often people send happy birthday wishes to friends or relatives, comment on the post, or spontaneously message.  Never do this, it shows indecency.  People can create a wrong image about you by sending well wishes without knowing your identity.  Many times people post old pictures of that person with congratulation, do not do this at all.

 Never write on religion-caste: -

Never, knowingly or unknowingly, do not like, post, or share any post having a feeling of hatred towards any religion.  Do not post thoughts that hurt or are provocative of anyone's faith and religious sentiments.

If you want to write a long talk, then write it in paragraphs because no one likes to read long posts. It is easier to read when you write in paragraphs. Also, know this ... If 'someone is sending a useless message, then do not react to it, but inform the family members about it. Apart from this, you can also complain in the cyber cell.
