They spend a lot of time in their care and maintenance. But, do you know that dogs also need exercise? Then in such a situation, by following our tips, you can exercise your dog at home.

1 Stairs Exercise

The stairs in your home make great exercise tools for your dog. Stand at the top of the stairs and throw his favorite toy or ball down the stairs. When your dog grabs that toy, name it and ask it to bring it to you. Do this practice round continuously. This way your dog will get a great workout.

2 Obstacle Game

You can play obstacle games with him on the terrace of your house or in the garden. For this, make a tunnel with the help of some cardboard or cushion. You call him from the other side of this tunnel. Do a few rounds of this obstacle game. Apart from this, you can also make your dog practice jumping through the hula hoop. This way your dog will feel mentally and physically fit. But keep in mind that this will not happen the first time, for this, the dog will have to do some practice.

3 Hide and Seek

Hide some of your dog's favorite toys behind a door, under a table, or under a mat. Tell your dog to search for them. Hide those things by showing them first. After that hide these things by changing the place. He will take turns looking for his toys everywhere. This is a great exercise for both dog training and physical fitness.

4 Throw and Catch

The dog enjoys catching just about anything. Take a ball or disc, throw it from a distance and your dog will catch it. Make your dog practice throwing and catching for some time continuously. In this way, your dog will remain active and his lack of walk will also be fulfilled.

5 Teach the Dog to Shake Hands

Shaking the hands of dogs shows their friendly behavior and as a dog owner, it will be a matter of pride for you to shake the hand of your dog. And to teach shake hands to the dog, you must first call him by his name. And when he comes near, put your hand forward to shake hands. He may not shake hands in the initial days. If the dog does not extend the hand, then you should hold his hand and hand the shake and when he himself hands the shake on your instructions, then give something to eat as a reward.

In this way, you can keep your dog fit and active with the help of these above indoor exercises.
