How To Keep Your Colon Healthy?

Natural Colon Cleansing

The Ancient Greeks also used natural colon cleansing as part of their natural health medicine and culture. In the United States, colon cleansing was unpopular until the 1920s with tea, fruit, or colon irrigation.

An important topic for the concept of colonial cleansing is its safety. Do we really need to clean up our colon?

Methods

There are two major methods used during colon cleansing. One uses colonic cleaning products, and the other involves a specialist to provide irrigation of the colon. If you are using a colon cleansing product, please take supplements. The normal process is to force your colon to release dirty fluids. You can find these colon cleaning products at local health stores and online. Such products include:

1. Laxatives

2. Oxygen powders

3. Capsules

4. Enemas

5. Herbal teas

Natural And Organic Cleansers

Most colon cleansers are made from natural and organic products such as licorice root, psyllium husk, and flax seeds for cleansing, regeneration, and support digestion. The combination of natural and organic products allows for the stimulation of normal muscle function and bowel movements that are important for digestion and depletion of nutrients and also helps to reduce colonization by smoothing out waste products.

How It Works

High colonics are another method of colon cleansing. The first machine developed for this type of method was introduced in 1900. Today, colonial healers have permission to irrigate the colons. This method is almost identical to an enema. However, this procedure involves a lot of water and is usually less painful than an enema. During this procedure, you will be asked to lie down on a table, and a suction pump will drain at least 15 liters of water from your anus.

When water is supplied safely to your colon, colonists will gently massage your abdomen to remove fluid from the colon. This treatment can be repeated and can last for at least an hour.

Water Intake

Water is essential for the body to get rid of toxins and impurities collected in your colon. Without enough water, our colon cannot remove unwanted substances from our bodies. The more water you drink, the more waste and toxins your body can excrete as part of the colon cleansing process and improve the effectiveness of the colon cleansing process.

A colon specialist usually uses water pressures and various temperatures and can use a combination of fruit enzymes, coffee, and other herbs. Probiotics are also used as a supplement to replenish the good bacteria released during the process.

Autointoxication

One of the key ideas proving that colonization was ancient back in ancient times is autointoxication. This is a theory that suggests that indigestible food inside our stomachs can accumulate in the colon. This harmful fecal element can produce toxic substances that can enter the bloodstream and thus poison the entire system.

This idea makes sense. Toxins, when rehydrated, are toxic and deadly.

Many symptoms can be distinguished by having toxic effects like constipation, acne, bad breath, headaches, and fatigue. The formation of these toxins and fecal matters is very harmful and could lead to fatal diseases such as colon cancer.

How To Keep Colon Healthy

1. Consume A High Fiber Diet

Consuming 25-35 grams of fiber per day is an important part of maintaining a healthy colon. Some great sources of fiber include nuts, seeds, berries, lentils, beans, broccoli, carrots, apples, pears, and peas. Aim to incorporate these foods into your daily diet.

2. Eat More Fruits, Vegetables And Whole Grains

Diets that incorporate ample fruits, vegetables, and whole grains have been linked to decreased cancer risk. This is in part due to the nutrients and antioxidants that are present in this food.

3. Limit Red Meat And Processed Foods

Red meat and highly processed foods are full of saturated fat, associated with an increased risk of colon cancer. Oftentimes, the preparation of red meat is done in a way that produces carcinogens.

4. Drink Enough Water

When you are not properly hydrated, toxins can build up in your body. Drinking 8 to 12 glasses of water a day can help move toxins and excrement through your colon more quickly.

5. Excercise Regularly

Regular exercise can encourage more consistent bowel movements. The increase in blood flow and circulation makes your GI system more effective overall. Studies have shown that exercise, especially, can greatly reduce the risk of developing some digestive disturbances.
