How to Keep Social Media Account Safe

Those who work IT to keep their social media accounts safe have said some ways to avoid being victimized by theft or social media, email or Google accounts. 

When you know your account has been hacked : If you are hacked you will not be able to access your account with your password. But emails or post will continue to go through your account. Then you realize you've lost control of your account. 

Again, You may be able to get into your account, but you may be charged if your name is being mailed or a post is being hacked. 

Immediate to do : Immediately inform the police that your account has been hacked. You can also tell from the account ofa close friend or family that your account has been hacked. Be clear, you are not doing the posts or pictures that are being shared from your account.

How to hack : Experts say a 'program engineering' is used in this case. For example, an email was swnt to you from a strange or familiar or interesting address. This is called a 'phishing' email. There may be some pictures or files or links. When you click there a software enters your device and monitors your activities. Your information goes to him. This is how social media accounts can be hacked. 

Two Factor Authentication : The password for facebook, email or google account was asked so long as strong or complex characters can no longer be protected by digits. 

Many cyber experts says that there are meny software that can be used to break password. He said that if you use the two factor reature it will secure your account. He was explaiing that, if someone tries to login to your account from another device, a code notification will appera on your mobile or email. Then you will know that your account is being hacked. Again, if you try to login from another device yourself, you can check the account itself and start account with authorization. 

Stranger Emails, Avoid Links : If a link arrives on your Facebook , it may also be through Messesger, avoid it. "We need to reduce our curiosity a little", Cyber expert says. If there is an attachment  in any link or email, do not click it without clicking it before clicking or opening it. Your friend's account may have been hacked and someone else sent the link.

The result of opening these links or files : The attachmentscontained in these links or email can most likely contain malware thet could enter into yur device and steal your device's information. However, if you open an email and read what is written without clicking the attachment, the malware will not be infected with your laptop, computer or mobile. 

Caution in using software and apps : Be careful when installig any type of software on any device. In this case the use of pirated software should be avoided. If you download software and apps from anywhere, you put yourself at risk of danger. 

Changing Settings : Changing some things for security by going to the settings option on the devices you use. Turn on such login alerts. Turn on login approval. Turn on the option so that no one can tag you in a picture or post without your permission.
