How to increase visitors to your website

Assuming your website or eCommerce is search engine friendly and responsive, your biggest problem is probably the lack of visitors. Is not that right? This is how it is, at least on most sites.
So how do you get more visitors to your website or online store or more readers to your blog? There are several ways to do this, and after reading this article, you already know quite a few about them.
Sources of traffic
Before we start going through how to get more visitors to your website, let’s talk for a moment more about the different sources of traffic. The website receives visitors from several different sources. These include:
-
Organic
-
Reference
-
Direct
-
Social media
-
Botti
Organic traffic means people who came to your website through search engines. An example of organic traffic is when someone searches Google for the keywords “ How do I get visitors to my website? ”And click on the search result that brings him to this page.
Referral traffic includes anyone who has come to your site by clicking on a link found online. This program also includes social media traffic in some programs, while social media plays a role in Google Analytics. For example, referral traffic is when someone has recommended your eCommerce product on their blog and someone else clicks on that link.
Direct visitors are those who have typed the address of your homepage in the address bar. However, there are fewer and fewer such visitors today.
The decrease in direct visitors is illustrated by the following example: typing a business name in the address bar, but omitting the web and suffix, you end up on Google, and when you click on a search result, you're organic traffic and not direct traffic.
Social media traffic cannot be misunderstood. They are visitors who have come to your site through social media. For example, a link that you have added yourself or a link added by someone else to your pages on social media can be a gateway.
Even if the tracking program shows that your site receives x number of visitors each month, most of them may be bots. Bots aren't real roommates, so they're of no use to you - except, for example, Google's search engine crawler, which crawls your pages for search results.
Bots account for an average of about 37.2 percent of site traffic. According to the same study, good bots, such as Google's search engine robot, account for 13.1 percent of traffic, while bad bots account for 24.1 percent. People make up 62.8 percent of all visitors.
So not all traffic is equal, but you need to filter out most of your traffic to get an accurate read of the right visitors. If you want, read the article on filtering bots out of visitor statistics.
Here are some ways to get more traffic to your site.
Start a blog
If you are not writing a blog yet, start writing a blog right away. Companies that write a blog get 55% more visitors to their pages than companies that don’t write a blog.
An interesting topic
Before you start a blog, choose an interesting topic that your audience wants to read. To solve someone's problem or forget the whole thing!
Interesting headlines
Referring to the above, be sure to write interesting headlines. People browse pages on their phones and don’t read all the text. Interesting headlines make people read your text, and after reading it, they’re more likely to share the text with others.
Social media strategy
Create a social media strategy for your business where you plan where all the services you are involved in and what content you produce for those services and when. Be active on social media, participate in discussions, share links with others - and others will do the same.
Press releases
A press release is still a powerful tool to use. A press release is an easy way to get publicity as well as links to your pages. News sites have the best domain authority scores, as Google appreciates their place of publication. Thus, the links from these pages will help you in the search engine optimization of your site.
Search engine optimization
Search engine optimization helps you get more traffic from search engines. These visitors are still free, so it's really worth investing in search engine optimization!
Make sure there are no technical restrictions on your site, and always remember to search engine optimize the blog articles you write. Also remember e.g. internal linking and external linking, titles, bolds, italics, and images and their optimization.
