How to Improve Your Testosterone Levels

Maintaining the right amount of testosterone in the body is important for maintaining overall health and well-being. Testosterone is a steroid hormone needed to improve libido, strength, physical activity, and protection against osteoporosis. In addition, this hormone supports the development of certain male characteristics such as hair patterns, muscles, and tone of voice. Although testosterone is considered a male hormone, women also need its own small amounts to gain muscle and bone strength. Generally, an adult male produces about eight to ten times more testosterone than their female counterparts. Testosterone production in men increases below puberty. The average levels of testosterone in the bloodstream are about 359 and 1230 nanograms. As people get older, a decrease in testosterone production occurs. This decline results in lower sex drive, chronic fatigue, depression, and fatigue. In addition, deficient levels of testosterone in men increase the risk of obesity and heart attack.

Low testosterone levels are caused by the failure of the testes to produce an adequate amount of testosterone. This growth affects the entire body system and causes many physical, chemical, and hormonal changes. Age is not the only reason for the decline in testosterone production. According to David Zava, PhD., President of the ZRT Laboratory, the leading hormonal research club in the United States, many factors contribute to low testosterone levels. Environmental toxicity, prolonged stress, and depression are factors that can cause the body to slow down testosterone production. Lifestyle can also contribute to the reduced production of this hormone. Excessive drinking, lack of exercise, and unhealthy eating habits can damage the testes and lower testosterone production. Other reasons for the low production of this ingredient are high blood pressure, the use of anabolic steroids, prescription or over-the-counter medications, surgery, cancer, and diseases.

People can improve testosterone levels by changing their lifestyle, improving their diet, or incorporating exercise programs into their daily lives. Exercise and other physical activities have been proven to show moderate improvements in testosterone levels. However, these activities should be done appropriately to avoid over-training. Excessive training causes fatigue and reduced fertility, reducing sperm quality and quantity temporarily. This is because the body literally “kills itself” during exercise to build and improve the body and needs to rest to achieve normal cell growth. Strong physical activity can reduce the level of hormones in the blood that affect sperm production. These sperm levels return to normal after about three days. They added that drinking coffee after a few hours of training can protect sperm quality due to the antioxidants found in caffeine.

If this correction does not work, there are various options available to treat this deficiency. Common medications include testosterone injections, pills, and pills. Many products such as herbal supplements and vitamin products that increase hormone levels are available on the market. In addition to these drugs, alternative therapies can also be used to stimulate testosterone production. Muscle development, bone loss, high energy levels, decreased irritability, and anxiety is some of the benefits of testosterone treatment.

While low testosterone levels endanger the well-being and health of many older men, treatments are not easy. People are encouraged to talk to a doctor or other medical professional and to consider the benefits and side effects of many herbs for low testosterone levels. Increasing testosterone levels in men are possible but should only be done with the advice of a medical professional.
