"Transforming Education for the Next Generation"
The above headline requires a different learning environment, work organization, culture, society, and surroundings. Where the different caliber of teachers plays the primary role, it is critically important to attract good teachers, support and encourage their professionalism, and align assessment and rewards to support innovation in the teaching & learning system.
"For School System"
For school systems, the benchmark set for success is no longer to be better than earlier,
Even modest improvements in student performance can produce hundreds of millions of dollars over
the lifetime of students. However, educational technologies can empower students and teachers for success, potential goals, and impacts for transformative educational technology initiatives.
"Next Generation Studies Modules"
Students should inculcate in them the modern techniques of grasping knowledge and learning from the internet via online learning methods; the coronavirus pandemic has taught students how to develop their skills by creating innovative ideas. Thus, it showed the students how to acquire their interpersonal skills via online studies.
Education is an essential part of people's lives; it will either make them or break them in the future, depending on the careers they choose. Online education has developed fast for the last couple of years. Students are flowing into the classes seeking opportunities to learn from anywhere at any time. The number of students is
a lot larger than the standard class size as well as the volume of student interactions.
However, the peer interaction is partial as most of the interactions are generated by several active students. Through collaborative learning processes like discussions, students actively exchange,
debate and negotiate their ideas within their groups, and this increases of
students' interest in learning.
Moreover, by engaging in discussion and taking responsibility
for their learning, students are encouraged to become critical thinkers. Many types of research
showed that students working in small groups tend to learn more of what is being taught.
I want to enhance the students' experience by focusing on scalable
studenttostudent interaction in large size classes in online education instead of
teacherto student interaction, which is not immediately scalable. Current peer
collaboration systems such as bulletin board systems are not optimal for discussion among
many students with diverse cultural backgrounds and personalities.
A previous study found that Asian students took the initiative in class discussions significantly fewer
times than did nonAsian students. A public discussion system such as a bulletin board
system can be insufficient to encourage students of diverse cultural backgrounds and
personalities to participate in discussions.
"Online Classes"
There are more advantages of taking classes in the classroom than taking them online, such as meeting with the teacher, asking for feedback physically, and seeing their reaction.
The traditional way of taking class, which is called the classroom environment, has become a lot easier to manage time because you are going to class every day, if not a little less. Students have more time to meet with their peers and teacher and more time for homework to be done in the classroom with the help of peers and your teacher.
Many students learn best through the face-to-face interaction or the hands-on approach provided by teachers and peers while attending classes in the classroom environment. Online courses might be practical for some students; however, many students learn by doing, seeing, and interacting with the teacher and peers.
