Well, the full form of ‘bullying’ according to me, is as given above. There might be innumerable others, suggested by different people with ranging vocabularies. Though some people may or may not agree with me, still the above full forms are based on my personal experiences. I will definitely explain each and every letter of ‘BULLYING’ and what they stand for and their impact on our lives. 1)Bewilderment : ‘Bewilderment’ or in simple terms, confusion, results from lack of knowledge about one’s own self. There are multiple theories based on treatment of confusion but, the main problem is that, most of us are not aware of what we actually desire for. It is a common tendency that humans are never satisfied. As humans, we generate competition among the simplest of things and desire for something better. It is often observed that parents compare their children with their peers and siblings. It is a common scene in most household, that, a parent is caught demoralizing his or her offspring in front of the neighbors and what is the reason? The reason is that, the child has not been able to score a 100 in his/her academics and has secured 99% marks. Parents tend to forget that every time they demoralize or discourage their children, they are troubling themselves. One of the important factors controlling competition can be jealousy. What is exactly meant by jealousy? In simple terms, jealousy can take roots from lack of prominence, lack of consideration, and feeling of insecurity. The very notion of most people in the face of problems is, “why only me?” People feel that all the wrong happen only to them but do we ever reflect, that God has a definite plan for each of his child on the earth. All the above factors, together contribute to a feeling of “what do I want actually?” – and this exact feeling neither allows us to concentrate on our own life, nor let others live peacefully. 2)Unethical : Ethics, nowadays, seem old-fashioned mostly to some youngsters. But it is felt, that ethics should be maintained to some extent. Some people confuse ethics with formality. Neither are ethics limited to formality, nor are they old-fashioned. Even when we think ill of others, we must try to put ourselves in ‘their shoes’. It is rather easy to suggest advises but difficult to maintain them. But, if somehow we can convince ourself to stop thinking Ill of others, life would be much easier. 3)Liars : People lie usually to defend themselves from offending situations. Those people who bully others, indulge in spreading meaningless rumors about them. They generally make up spicy stories about the victims of bully, as a source of entertainment.

)Lazy : According to me, those bullying others, are actually timid people, having no aim of life. We are all aware of the proverb – “an empty mind is a devil’s workshop”. This proverb is truly applicable in this case.

)Yearning for entertainment : Those bullying others, should be pitted for, they could have utilized their precious time in their own development, rather than annoying and bullying others, thus earning their curses, which would sometime or the other, affect their upcoming future.

)Irritable : Those who are themselves irritated, find peace in irritating others even more. Rather than finding cause and solutions for their irritations, they themselves become a major source of irritation for those victims of bullying.

)Numb: Those people bullying others often become desensitised to others’ feelings. Nowadays, in schools, colleges and other institutions, ragging by the senior students, has become the latest trend. You have to keep in mind, so many gestures, postures and code languages! The newcomers, as a result, get distracted from their actual aim that is, their career.

)Gruesome : Those bullying others, create for themselves, a gruesome image in the victim’s mind. The victims often go into a depressed state and it becomes very difficult for them to continue academics. Some even choose to end their life then. My intent is not to create prejudice against any person but through this simple writing, I would like to take the initiative to help those, who have lost their enthusiasm and hope, and think themselves to be worthless. Through this ‘not-much-extraordinary’ writing, I hope that at least some lives will be saved. All we need to remember is, as long as there are people, there will be comments. Nobody is perfect in the world. As Lord Buddha had said, “if you have a shelter, food to eat and a few good friends, you are richer than the richest person in the whole world. Always remember, if someone bullies you, take that as a catalyst in achieving your goals. Life is always trying to teach us some or the other lesson. So if somebody is bullying us, we should be thankful to them for, we do not do anything without a reason. For the person bullying us, has created the zeal in us to do something extraordinary!
