Changes in travelling behavior require incentivizing electric vehicles, using car-sharing platforms, and building the infrastructure for providing access to a network of charging stations to electric vehicles for their smooth operation. The objective should not be confined only to changing travel behavior but also to reduce congestion on the road, which is a kind of nightmare for any regular driver. For achieving that behavior, we need to create a mass platform for providing people access to vehicles on demand to curb congestion.

This is leading to the depletion of coral reefs and affecting the growth of aquatic animals. This has led to many countries like China and Malaysia to ban the import of plastic waste of developed nations. nothing much could be expected from the demand side of the consumer as, as long as the supply of plastic exists, there would be the usage of it, and subsequently, It would lead to waste. Certain states in india, such as Himachal pradesh and Sikkim, have banned the usage of single-use plastic. The behavioural change is required from the industries involved in food processing, beverages, food chain industries, and restaurants. They have to come up with alternatives to plastics and transitioned to the usage of paper-based packaging. The changes have to be incorporated into people’s behavior. Despite the increasing scientific evidence it seems that a large majority of people still remain either unaware, in denial, or otherwise disengaged with the problem of climate change.
