How to have healthy, shiny, silky hair

Gently handle your hair while washing and drying it. The way you handle your hair makes a big difference in its texture and appearance. If you are rough with your hair it may get frizzy and look dull. Hair is a fragile material that, like a delicate piece of cloth, should be handled with care. Please note the following:

When shampooing, do not scrub your hair roughly. Massage the shampoo into your hair and spread it with your fingers.

Rinse your conditioner in the coldest water you can stand. The cold temperature seals the cuticles and makes your hair look shiny, while hot water removes frizzy and dull water.

Gently squeeze the water out of your hair and dry it with a towel instead of dipping it and putting it out.

Shampoo only a few times a week. Shampooing your hair every day will make it dry and brittle. The natural oil that your scalp produces to nourish your hair is washed before it can do its job. If you want your hair to stay healthy and shiny, you only need to wash it once or twice a week depending on your hair type.

The first time you reduce the number of times you wash your hair you may find that it looks more oily than usual. Your scalp produces oil during overeating because it is used for washing every day. After a week or two, things will balance out and your hair will look cleaner for longer.

Try a dry shampoo on days between washes when you need to refresh your hair. It is a powder that you sprinkle on your hair or an aerosol that you spray to absorb the oil and works as a pile.

Let your hair air dry instead of using heat. The best way to keep your hair healthy is to let it dry naturally instead of using a hairdresser. The heat from the hair dryer will damage the hair shaft. If you do this every day, you are bound to see damage over time. Turn off the blow dryer and let your hair dry naturally.

The same goes for other heat styling tools like curling irons, straightening irons, and hot rollers.

On days when you plan to use a hairdresser or other styling tools, apply a heat protector serum to your hair to keep it from being damaged as much.

Comb your hair instead of brushing it. Brushing plastic trousers through your hair, especially when wet, is almost guaranteed to cause damage. Sweeping tends to tear your hair apart while removing the comb from the tangles without pulling it out. Use a wide-toothed comb and work out the tangles, starting near the tips and going down to the roots.

Do not use harmful treatments. Dyeing, bleaching, chemical straightening and chemical curling will damage your hair to the shaft. For hair as healthy as possible, it is best to stop these treatments and allow your hair to take on its natural color and texture. Your hair may not be exactly the color you want, but it is healthy, shiny and silky.

If you want to color your hair, see how to color henna, honey or tea. These natural dyes really brighten your hair rather than damage it. You will not be able to achieve a dramatic color change, but you can make a few shades lighter or darker.

Avoid restrictive hairstyles that pull the hair out. Waves, wefts, dreads, and other styles that require your hair to be pulled permanently in a tight condition can all cause hair damage and loss. While some types of fabrics are less harmful than others (sewn fabrics are usually better than glue, for example), your hair will be healthier if you avoid them altogether.

Using Natural Treatments to Restore Shine and Silkiness

Take care of your hair every time you shampoo. Only use a conditioner enough to coat the hair strands without fully weighing them. Place the conditioner about an inch from your roots and comb it all the way to the tips using a wide-toothed comb. Rinse the conditioner with cold water for a shiny finish.

If your hair is very dry, also use a leave-in conditioner. Apply the conditioner after you take a shower while your hair is still moist. It will keep your hair soft and supple until your next shampoo.

Perform deep conditioning treatments every few weeks. Deep conditioning treatments are a great way to make your hair look silky and shiny. Because the treatments are so effective, you only need to do them once or twice a week. Use a store-bought deep conditioner or household oil such as coconut, olive, or almond oil. Complete the treatment as follows:

Wet your hair and add about a tablespoon of the deep conditioner. Use a wide-toothed comb to distribute it evenly through your hair.

Put your hair in a high bun or ponytail on top of your head. Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap.

Leave the conditioner on for at least an hour and up to eight hours.

Shampoo your hair as you normally would to remove excess conditioner.

Try a homemade hair mask. On days when you do not have time for a deep conditioning treatment but want to give your hair an extra boost, try using a household product to improve the texture and appearance of your hair. After wetting your hair in the shower, apply a hair mask. Shampoo it at the end of your shower. Here are home masks that will make hair shiny and silky:

One tablespoon of honey or one egg white

Banana or avocado mixed

One tablespoon of milk or yogurt

A combination of the above ingredients

Use a finished oil or serum to add shine. If your hair becomes frizzy and dull, hair oil or serum will make it smooth and protect it from the elements throughout the day. Apply a few drops on your finger and run the serum through your hair, focusing on the tips. Look for a hair serum or oil that contains any of the following nutrients:

Ola Argan

Moroccan oil

Ola Jojoba

Try a boar trousers brush. Most brushes are unhealthy for your hair, but boar bristle brushes are specifically designed to keep your hair shiny and smooth. Same texture as human hair, these natural oil pants pull your hair from roots to tips for nourishing, nourishing treatment. These brushes also stimulate the scalp, which promotes hair growth.

Use a wide-toothed comb to remove tangles at night or in the morning before you need to shampoo your hair.

Brush your hair with a boar bristle brush for about 10 minutes to help even out the oils.

Wait at least an hour before shampooing.

Making a Healthy Lifestyle Decisions

Be healthy from the inside out. Your diet and other health habits greatly affect the texture of your hair. When you eat plenty of healthy protein, nutrients, and fats, your hair looks shiny and healthy. If you do not, your hair will be the first place it shows. Watch your hair improve when you do the following:

Eat foods that contain protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and iron. Salmon, sardines, avocados, nuts and flax seeds are great for promoting healthy hair growth.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. When you are dehydrated, your hair can become dry and brittle.

Avoid smoking cigarettes. Smoke damage can cause hair to look dull and dry.

Use natural hair products. Ingredients in your shampoo and conditioner can cause your hair to become dry and dull, rather than silky and shiny. Switch to natural shampoos and conditioners that nourish your hair instead of losing its light and weighing it down. Use the following:

Choose a sulfate-free shampoo. Sulfates are a hard detergent used in everything from dish soap to laundry detergent, and people are starting to realize that they are not very good for the hair. Look for shampoos that say "sulfate-free" made with natural detergents.

Sulfate-free shampoos are also good for people with curly and curly hair as they help prevent frizz.

Choose a silicone-free conditioner. Conditioners are mixed with silicones because they make the hair look shiny and smooth after the first few applications. Unfortunately, over time, they build up in your hair, making it look brittle and dull. You're better off with silicone-free options.

Massage your scalp to stimulate hair growth. Not only does the massage feel good, it also promotes blood flow to the scalp, making your hair grow faster and stronger. Get a scalp massage every day, or at least every time you shower. Simply place your fingers on your scalp and rub them in a gentle circular motion.

Use coconut oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil to enhance your massage. This is especially useful if you are worried about thinning hair.

Tea tree oil, lavender oil, or cedarwood oil are also healthy for the hair.

Get regular cuts. Trim your split ends regularly to keep your hair in optimal health. If you cut regularly, your hair will also look sharper as you remove the bald, damaged parts. Choose a cut that optimizes your hair and cut your curls every 6-8 weeks.
