How to Grow Your Hair Faster
It's time to calm down.
Heat styling can cause hair to break and become damaged. If you frequently get blow-outs, use a curling or straightening iron, or use a hot comb, your hair may not grow as quickly as you would want.
Allow Wet Hair to Dry
Wet hair is quite elastic. If you brush it while it's dripping, you risk breaking strands or damaging the cuticle, which is made up of shingle-like cells that protect each hair. Using heat tools on damp hair can cause bubbles to form in the hair shaft, making it more fragile. If your hair is straight, let it air-dry before gently combing it with a wide-tooth comb. Detangle textured or curly hair gently with a wide-tooth comb while it's damp.
Color Must Be Handled With Caution
Bleach and other chemical hair treatments, such as permanents, weaken your hair, making it more prone to break before reaching the desired length. You'll require less harmful peroxide if you choose a color that's three shades or less from your natural color. Always test store-bought dye on a small area of your head before applying it to your entire head.
Get a Haircut
When you receive a trim, the ends, the weakest areas of the strands, are removed. Those ends could break or split if left as is. Split ends can move up your hair shafts, shortening your hair. If you want to expand, don't chop too much. Because your hair grows around 1/2 inch per month, strive for a 1/4-inch trim every 3 months or so.
Handle with Caution
If your hair breaks easily, it requires special care. Black hair, for example, is prone to breakage.
Avoid over-washing. Just enough to get rid of product buildup. This could be done weekly or every other week.
If you want to relax your hair, see a professional. Touch-ups should be used with caution. Only get them every 2-3 months, and only on new hair growth.
Every couple of weeks, give your hair a hot oil treatment.
Don't Lose Weight Too Quickly
If you want to lose weight, make sure your hair doesn't suffer. Stress, like abrupt weight loss, can cause hair loss. For example, if you don't receive enough protein, your body will use everything it can obtain, and hair development will take a back seat. It will grow back once your nutrition returns to normal. A nutritious, slower-paced food plan, on the other hand, is far better for you and your hair.
Treat Yourself to a Massage
A few modest studies have suggested that regular head massages may aid in hair growth. More research is needed in this area. Massages, on the other hand, are believed to help relieve stress, which can contribute to hair loss. They also feel amazing. Consider using a scalp massager. Alternatively, for several minutes each day, gently squeeze, stretch, and pinch your own scalp.
