Growing vegetables is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying things you can do in your garden. The joy of planting, watching it grow, and picking the product is the main reason why people keep trying, even though pests and diseases compete with you. Proper soil preparation is the key to success in growing vegetables. Every time you plant a new crop, you add compost, animal manure, blood and bones, and potash. If you do not make your vegetables, they will be weak and vulnerable to disease.
Unfortunately, most of our knowledge of what works and is not lost is not passed down from generation to generation. Don't despair. You can create your own information bank, and the only way to do this is to try and make mistakes. I’m also one of those who ignored what my dad did, so I’ve had to try it myself by just giving you the past.
The rewards of growing vegetables are enormous, but they need attention to get the best results. The idea of vegetables is to plant them very quickly and harvest them, unlike other plants that take years to grow. Or some of them are long-lasting. It is better to behave like a year.
The soil pH of the growing vegetable
The pH of your soil is critical. Some vegetables have an alkaline pH like yam and another pH with an acid like spinach. But most plants will grow within a pH range between 6-7. I have included a chart, so you can see the list of each vegetable I can tolerate. If the plant grows healthy, then there is nothing wrong with your soil pH, and you do not need to change it.

Crop Exchange
The deceptive component uses the above information and uses plant rotation.
Crop rotation moves each plant to the next bed, and the same crop can be planted each year in the same bed. This helps to reduce the formation of pests and diseases.
Example: If you are planting onions in a bed that previously had tomatoes, you will need to add a dose of lime. After the onions, you can plant peas and beans, which are also like alkaline soil. Peas and beans are legumes, and nitrogen is prepared from the atmosphere to the soil, found in leafy vegetables such as Silver beets, lettuce, broccoli, or cauliflower with high nitrogen requirements. You can then plant root crops such as carrots, which do not need much fertilizer or nitrogen.
To rehabilitate a garden bed, you can add it (relaxed) and plant a green clover compost crop, legumes (peas, beans), etc., and when they are 50cm high, they form into the soil.
Irrigation
You water often and deeply. Nothing like a vegetable garden can withstand a drought. Irrigation or aqua pore is an excellent type of irrigation as the water goes straight to the roots of the plants. It is more watery because it causes fungal infections. Blending with pea grass, lucerne or sugarcane is a great idea, as it controls weeds, reduces evaporation and decay over time, and improves soil formation.
Veggie Patch feature
Consider the case - Vegetable leaflets north, south, east, and west best in the north or west.
Think light - vegetables need full sun all day.
Remove all weeds, especially the sofa and grass. If you lift the bed, the grass will grow to the ground and continue.

Grab and apply cow manure / manure / blood and bones / manure
Calculate the area of each crop
Create trenches - with your shovel, grab and place the soil on top of the soil. This creates a mound where you plant your seedlings.
Planting
Staking - It is best to do it when planting. Plants such as tomatoes need a stalk, and beans and peas need a trellis of some kind to climb. So do the pumpkins!
Water the vegetables using a watering can with a liquid fertilizer such as Maxicrop or extra Seasol (2 caps per 9 liters). This will help them to overcome their artificial shock and help them to take root faster.
Making recipes helps reduce clutter and allows you to choose your vegetables easily.
Getting started
When you start planting your vegetables, buy them as seedlings. Once you have the hang of growing it (with some success), you can then start harvesting your own seeds or buying seeds. Growing vegetable seeds requires a heated house/seed trays and mixing seeds, water, planting seedlings, or planting them in the garden. Many vegetables do not like transplanting, so these varieties are grown directly in the garden bed. In cool conditions, tomatoes are best started in a hot room.
Nature
When planning your vegetable garden, you need to understand the needs of each vegetable. For example, tomatoes are summer crops in temperate areas, and broccoli and cauliflower are winter crops. See vegetable growing charts where you can grow your own vegetables. Some plants are frost tolerant, so do not plant them until all the cold is gone. Melbourne Cup Day (Tuesday, November 1, Australia) is the best day to plant vegetables for snow. Some plants such as tomatoes do not like summer temperatures above 32C and therefore are not productive. You may need to place a shade cloth over them during the hot part of the day.
Wind can also be a big problem as it dries the soil and can break your vegetables. Make sure you create a vegetable patch in a safe place away from air and salt-laden salts.
Planting Vegetable Seeds
Depth of soil to a pan, which impedes rooting. Large seeds can penetrate deep into the soil where small seeds are placed on top, and the soil is sprayed with it. To get good/small seeds, the tilth (soil particles) needs to be very good. Please read the directions on the back of the seed package, as it will tell you how much seed to plant. Some seeds, such as carrots, can be planted directly on a vegetable patch, while others can be started on a seed tray. Water seeds after planting, but be very gentle with small seeds, as hard moisturizing can destroy them.
Planting vegetables
Vegetables need a lot of nutrients because they grow fast. They need to be diluted every 2-3 weeks with Maxicrop / Seasol or worm-casting liquid products. Strong.
It is important to understand how nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash promote growth. Nitrogen is responsible for leaf growth, phosphorus promotes root growth, and potash is responsible for flowers and fruits. When preparing the soil, you should think about what part of the vegetable you are eating and adjust how much and what nutrients you need to add to the soil. For example, if you plant carrots, you will need to add nitrogen, but not too much, or grow too much with the leaves, and the root will put a fork. Since carrots are root vegetables, adding superphosphate is a good idea. Potash is not needed because you do not want carrots to bloom.
Growing vegetables can be advantageous but requires a lot of attention. There is nothing better than eating a newly grown product that you have grown up with. If you understand your soil and the pH requirements of each vegetable, you are more likely to succeed. My next article will talk about the battle between pests and diseases. I beg you not to give up if pests and diseases seem to strike you. Everyone who works in the garden has the same problem.
