1. Cut your hair short
Although it may seem paradoxical, regular hair trims are just what your hair needs to promote strong growth. While getting a haircut will remove split ends and breakage that can cause damage to your strands and reduce volume, it won't speed up the growth of your hair.
Eliminating frizzy, damaged ends will give the impression that your hair is growing more quickly, neatly, and healthily.
2. Consume foods high in protein.
Since strong hair begins on the inside, strengthen it with foods high in protein, such as eggs, oily fish, beans, nuts, whole grains, and lean meats like chicken.
Since keratin, a strong protein also needed to make skin and fingernails, forms each strand of hair, protein is essential. Your body will redirect its protein resources to more important locations if you don't get enough, which could negatively impact your hair.
3. Use a supplement to grow hair.
Take a multivitamin to enhance the benefits of the extra protein you eat. You have two options: ask your doctor about the ideal combination of vitamins and minerals you might need more of, or search for a vitamin designed specifically for your skin, hair, and nails. To prevent hair loss and promote healthy hair growth, the following vitamins are essential:
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and iron
4. Apply a shampoo and conditioner with extra power.
Hair growth can be greatly influenced by how frequently and what you wash your hair with. To change the appearance and texture of damaged hair, use a strengthening shampoo and conditioner. Our Rehab + Revive line preserves fragile hair strands and strengthens weak, brittle hair fibres.
In order to prevent dryness your hair, wash your hair less frequently, massage your scalp and hair follicles gently, and rinse it with lukewarm water to seal your cuticles.
5. Do a hair mask once a week.
A weekly hair mask treatment can help untangle your hair, provide much-needed moisture, and lessen the appearance of damaged hair.
Our Hydrate & Recharge Deep Soak Masque treats dry, brittle hair that needs some TLC. It is filled with incredibly silky, nutrient-rich drops that contain keratin and monoi oil. Pro tip: To ensure the treatment absorbs and penetrates your hair, apply to damp hair and cover with a warm towel for five minutes
.
6. After washing, take precautions
When your hair is wet, it is most susceptible to damage, so handle it carefully and before styling. Instead of pulling or rubbing your damp hair, gently pat it dry with a gentle towel or wrap it in a microfibre hair turban.
Don't pull your brush through tough knots; instead, softly brush your hair, starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots. Apply our Daily Miracle Leave-In Conditioner to damp hair to protect and detangle fragile strands right away.
