Today, Hyundai Motor India declared the arrival of the much awaited Hyundai Creta in the Indian market for 2024. The pricing of the new Creta ranges from Rs xx lakh to Rs xx lakh (ex-showroom). There are seven different varieties of the SUV available: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The SUV is currently being booked; interested parties may do so online or by going to the dealership that is closest to them. The reservation fee is Rs 25,000.
In terms of appearance, the new Creta has fully redesigned front and back profiles, but the general silhouette is the same. It has a full-width DRL up front with an inverted L signature. It features a redesigned bumper, a silver faux skid plate, split LED headlamps, and a sizable gloss-black front grille.
The new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are the only side modifications. At the back, it now has a redesigned bumper and connected LED taillights that are identical to the front. Faux skid plates, shark-fin antennas, washer-equipped rear wipers, and a stop lamp positioned high on the back are some more highlights.
Speaking of color possibilities, there are seven available for the exterior paint of the Creta facelift: Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Atlas White with black roof (new).
Interior design and center console arrangement have been totally revamped in the new Creta. Both the infotainment system and instrument cluster's twin 10-25-inch screens are the focal point of the cabin. Air purifier, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, Bose sound system, powered driver's seat, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, blue link connected car tech, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, steering-mounted controls, multi-color ambient lighting, and much more are among the additional features.
The SUV is equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, traction control, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system for added safety. Additionally, the SUV now has Level-2 ADAS features like Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Following Assist; Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert; High Beam Assist; Driver Attention Warning and Safe Exit Warning; Blind Spot Collision Warning and Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist; Rear Cross Traffic Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist.
The new 160 PS, 253 Nm turbo petrol engine, 116 PS, 250 Nm 1.5-liter turbodiesel, and 115 PS, 144 Nm 1.5-liter NA petrol engine are the three engine options available for the new Creta. A 6-speed MT, iMT, CVT (called iVT), 6-speed AT, and a 7-speed DCT are the available gearbox options. Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, and VW Taigun are among the rivals of the new Creta.
