1 . Hazrat Muhammad (s.) taught some deeds and prayers to be able to collect debts quickly or be debt free. He used to seek refuge with Allah a lot to save himself from debt.
Once while praying to be saved from debt, a person saw him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! You seek refuge from debt too much!' The Prophet (s.) said - 'When a person is in debt, he speaks falsely and when he promises, he does not keep it. (Bukhari, Hadith No: 2397)
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
meaning: 'O Allah! Sufficient for me your halal sustenance instead of haram. And do not make me wait for anyone but You and give me ease by Your grace.'
2 . People fall into poverty and crisis. This is a very normal aspect of life. So when someone is in financial distress or is forced into dire need, he takes a loan from others. Try to fulfill your needs and requirements with loan money.
But debt sometimes brings curse in the life of some. Just as the lender has to suffer from the frustration of not being able to collect the loan, the borrower also has to suffer from the words of the lender.

Prayer for freedom from debt
Once a man asked the fourth Caliph Ali (RA) for some help in paying off a debt. At this time, Ali (RA) said to him, "Shall I teach you a few words, which Rasulullah (SAW) taught me?" If you recite it, then Allah will take responsibility for your debt relief, even if your debt is like a mountain.
Then Ali (RA) asked the man to recite the following supplication. (Tirmizi, Hadith: 3563; Musnad Ahmad, Hadith: 1321)
Arabic:اللهم اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عن حَرَامِكَ ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Meaning: O Allah! Sufficient for me your halal sustenance instead of haram. And do not make me look forward to anyone but You and grant me comfort by Your grace.
Prayers and deeds to be free from debt

Sometimes the Prophet (s.) used to pray to Allah and say-
Arabic:اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والمأثم والمغرم
Meaning: O Allah! I seek refuge in you from laziness, old age, sin and debt. (Bukhari, Hadith: 6007)
Read the prayer to be debt free
Narrated by Sahabi Anas (RA), Rasulullah (S.) used to recite the following dua during times of anxiety. (Bukhari, Hadith: 2893)
Arabic:اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَمِّ وَالحَزَنِ، وَالعَجزِ وَالكَسَلِ، وَالبُخلِ وَالجُبنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّينِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Meaning: O Allah! Surely I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from indolence and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.”
The prayer that Rasul (pbuh) used to be free from debt
In another narration, the Prophet (s.) used to pray like this and say—
Arabic:اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
Meaning: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from anxiety, indolence, laziness, miserliness and cowardice. I also seek shelter from excessive debt and coercion by bad people. (Nasa'i, Hadith: 5478)
If you do these prayers regularly, Allah Ta'ala will make arrangements to get rid of debt soon. Give financial ease and comfort.
