After publishing information online, you need visitors if you hope to generate revenue from it. You can't expect people to click on your affiliate links if they never see your content. You should already have a Pinterest profile and be well on making it work for you if you followed the instructions in the training I sent you. But that's not all you can do with this potent, zero-cost traffic generator.
According to a recent study, Pinterest users are more likely to make a purchase than their counterparts on Facebook or Twitter. Because Pinterest is so popular among shoppers, it's an excellent platform for Amazon Associates to promote their products. While you may not be able to promote your affiliate links on Pinterest, you may still use the platform to increase site traffic. Google has been your primary source of site visitors thus far, whether they stumbled upon your blog post via a Google search or discovered your Pinterest boards via a Google search. However, putting all your traffic eggs in Google's basket is not a good idea.
What if there's a lot of other content competing for the same term, and yours gets buried? But what if Google (once again) modifies their algorithm, and you drop in the rankings? Remember, a few years back, Google's Penguin change stirred up search engine rankings, so you shouldn't rule it out (especially for affiliate marketers). You shouldn't just stop working on your material when something like that happens. All the hard work has been done by you. You have an asset in that content. Successful people know the value of putting their resources to work. You may get more people to visit your site by using Pinterest to promote it to your Pinterest followers. If the individuals who follow you on Pinterest appreciate the content you've shared with them, they'll likely pass it along to their own followers. In addition, if you share anything interesting, you'll get new visitors immediately. But before you can gain traction on Pinterest, you need to amass a following. Unfortunately, despite how simple it is, many individuals manage to get this wrong.
Either they follow random people without any thought to gaining followers who are real consumers interested in the products you're sharing, or they use tools that are against Pinterest's terms of service to artificially increase their follower count (which will always be a bunch of junk profiles that won't do you any good).
I quickly increased the number of quality followers on Pinterest using a method that I discovered. It is what I prefer to refer to it as. You will be able to read the feedback that has been provided by other folks regarding the method on that page (spoiler: it is trendy and has a great deal of success).
Think of the time you spend growing your following on Pinterest as an expense involved with running your business. You will see an immediate benefit from the additional traffic, and you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you have a backup strategy if the traffic you receive from Google suddenly drops. There is not the slightest possibility of finishing in last place.
If you are serious about growing your consumer base outside the constraints of Google alone, you have no choice but to implement this plan. It is an absolute need.
