How to get more alkaline in your diet

The goal with this diet is to match the pH level of the blood, which runs on the alkaline side. This task can be difficult for many because the food most people like to eat is therefore considered to be high in acid. The goal is to add extra alkaline to your diet to identify good alkaline sources. Creating a complete list of alkaline foods will help you to take advantage of your amazing pH diet.

Alkalizing foods have a tonic effect on the body. By reducing the acidity in the blood, alkaline foods act as a "respirator for fresh air" in the system that regenerates and restores damaged cells. Foods high in acid cause the body to break down prematurely, the bloodstream carrying these "acid bombs" throughout the system, causing damage to its wake. By deciding which foods have an alkalizing effect on the body, we can incorporate them into our diet in large quantities, setting the pH levels in the blood to a higher level. On average, the pH of a person's blood is between 7.35 and 7.45; levels 7 and higher are considered alkaline.

Vegetables and fruits are an easy way to get more alkaline in your diet. Alkalizing vegetables are: alfalfa, barley grass, beet, beet greens, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, succulent vegetable, chard greens, collard greens, cucumbers, vegetables dandelions, eggplant, garlic, green beans, green peas, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce, mushrooms, mustard greens, nightshade vegetables, onions, parsnip, peas, peppers, pumpkin, radishes, rutabaga, seaweed, spinach, shoots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, watercress, wheatgrass, and wild vegetables.

Fruits with an alkalizing effect are: apples, apricots, avocados, bananas, berries, black berries, cantaloupe, cherries, coconuts, currants, dates, figs, grapes, grapes, dew, lemons, lemons lime, muskmelon, nectarines, oranges, peaches, pears, pineapple, dried, raspberries, rhubarb, strawberry, tangerines, tomatoes, hot fruit, and watermelon.

Protein can be a problem if you try to add more alkaline to your diet. All proteins found in animals are acidic. It is possible to add protein to your diet that will have an alkalizing effect on your blood. Alkaline proteins are: almonds, chestnuts, sorghum, tempeh, tofu, and whey protein powder.

Food is nothing but spices, herbs and sweeteners that give you that extra character. You can add these alkalizing additives to your cooking efforts to bring your PH levels into writing. Alkalizing condiments are: cinnamon, curry, ginger, mustard, pepper, sea salt, stevia, and all herbs.

Minerals are essential for good health. Paying attention to which minerals have alkalizing effects can add the right balance to your blood pH. Minerals that have an alkalizing effect on the body are: cesium, potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium.

There are other activities that can make adding alkaline to your diet even easier. Other ways to add alkaline to your diet are: apple cider vinegar, alkaline antioxidant water, bee pollen, lecithin granules, molasses, probiotic cultures, sour milk products, green juices, veggie juices, fresh fruit juice,  and mineral water.

Knowing what foods and ingredients can add alkaline to your pH levels is just the beginning. Applying them is the next step that requires planning and commitment. After adding these nutritious foods to your diet,  you can check your pH levels with a salivary gland test available at most health food stores. Keeping your pH between 7 and 8 is the goal of good health.

Remember that the goal of a miraculous pH diet is to have alkaline levels higher than your acidic foods. This does not mean that you cannot enjoy high-fat foods, on the contrary; the balance of your diet should be directed to alkaline-producing foods. By maintaining a proper pH balance, you can ensure that your body is functioning at the highest level possible.
