But training teachers is also essential to enhancing India's educational system. Adequate training not only explains why teachers stay current with the times, but it also advances the nation's educational system. Teachers with the necessary training and expertise can instruct students properly. There are currently 1.3 billion people living in India. For any government, providing citizens with basic resources is an enormous undertaking. To achieve the intended outcomes in the provision of high-quality education, significant efforts must be made. For the educational apparatus to be even more robust, the system must address a number of issues. The following list of problems with the educational system includes solutions for each of them:Restricted resources and redistribution: To meet the nation's educational demands and supply teachers with resources, the provincial and national governments must supply infrastructure, labour, and money.
Education institutions' autonomy: Both public and private educational institutions in our nation are subject to certain administrative control over their operations. Operational autonomy for high-performing institutions should be granted. Including new innovations and allowing for syllabus revisions can help provide high-quality education. Policies that release highly ranked/graded educational institutions from undue control must be implemented jointly by the federal and state governments.Expensive higher education: With the privatisation of higher education and the growth of profit-driven education entrepreneurs, the affordability of professional and technical education has become a critical component. The government can establish a new company that offers school loans at lower interest rates or with longer payback terms in order to lower the cost of education. After studying, there is a possibility to set up a monthly auto-debit loan repayment option from the salary. Additionally, more scholarships from private universities have to be available to those from socially and economically marginalised groups.Antiquated academic framework: Students' assessments and evaluations must be updated to meet the most recent international norms. We urgently need more vocational and practical courses. The curriculum needs to be condensed, and students' assessments need to be limited to that one skill. Furthermore, institutions should abandon the traditional system of summative assessment and adopt continuous evaluation, a formative assessment paradigm, as outlined in NEP 2020.
