- Wash your face every day with a light cleanser. Cleaning your face is the first step towards having clear skin. By using gentle cleansers twice a day, you may rid your skin of impurities and free radicals, giving you a smoother, more youthful-looking complexion.
- Exfoliate a couple times a week at most. A face scrub can help remove dead skin cells and residue accumulation that can clog the pores of the skin. In a similar vein, exfoliating your skin using a chemical exfoliator that contains glycolic acid will help get rid of dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. Use a face scrub no more than twice or three times a week. Apply a chemical exfoliation, such as a facial peel, no more than once per week. Refrain from exfoliating if your skin looks extremely dry or irritated, because overdoing it might undermine your skin's natural protective barrier.
- Tone your facial area. A toner facilitates the deeper penetration of serums and moisturisers into your pores by moisturising your skin.
- Use a vitamin C serum to get skin that is more radiant. Topical vitamin C evens out skin tone, and when combined with oral vitamin C, it can minimise wrinkles and fine lines by promoting the synthesis of collagen. It is advantageous to mix a serum with a moisturiser for people with really dry skin.
- Create a lather with a moisturiser. A moisturiser devoid of oil can enhance the appearance of smooth, glowing skin. Apply moisturiser in a circular motion in the morning and evening to revitalise and illuminate your skin.
- Protect your skin by applying sunscreen to it every day. Impurities, such as black spots, can arise from UV radiation caused by the sun. Every day, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least thirty. If you do end up with a sunburn, aloe vera helps soothe and nourish your skin.
