It's easy to do SEO once you got an old site that already features a ton of backlinks. It is easy to spend money on paid advertising when you're already rich, and you're a longtime company. These tactics will certainly work. But what happens when you are a new website? How are you able to get that traffic? Here's the solution to those questions.
The first method I even have for you is to partner with other content creators. have you ever considered co-hosting blog content? So all the items where I'll go and I'll create content with people, and we'll roll in the hay on a similar topic.
So, for instance, we may do a joint webinar, joint podcast. We may even do roundup posts. We may even do interviews with people. By partnering with other content creators, you will find that they will promote the content and promote the content.
But you'll be like, hey, I do not have any traffic to my site. That's okay. That's why I also gave you options to interview people and do roundup posts because people are always flattered to be interviewed.
People are always flattered to be included during a roundup post. And you recognize what, once you include X person in these posts, what are they getting to do when it gets published? They go to share it. Once they share it on their favorite social site, what happens? You get more traffic.
And yeah, you'll find that each one of the experts might not share the content, but if you email asking them to, an outsized portion will. I'm talking about 30%, 40% plus. I found that when people interview me and that they ask me to share the content, I nearly always share it.
Giveaways, contests, or promotions. Look, reach bent other websites in your niche, offer them something valuable to their audience, and they'll spread the word. once they do, you will get extra traffic. Giveaways are so effective.
You guys are all conversant with the guy named Tai Lopez. He's famous or known for that video, also as tons of other things. He does plenty of giveaways. What does Tai do that's extremely effective and smart?
He's given away money; he's given away cars; he's given away shoes; he gives away whatever he wants to offer a way that he can consider. And it's super effective because once you do giveaways, people like it, they spread the word, you get plenty of traffic, you get plenty of followers, plenty of engagement, and you'll keep leveraging that audience to stay returning.
When you get those people during those giveaways, confirm you collect their email addresses because by collecting their email addresses, then you release blog posts or new features or content, you'll always email them to urge them back to your site.
Method number three, push notifications. It is the easiest method to stay getting more and more traffic. Just consider it this manner. Look, someone involves your site; are they getting to come back? The likelihood is that no.
If you are not sure about this, inspect Google Analytics. There is a cohort report in there; it shows you ways often people come. You're lucky if three months down the road, even 1% of your audience comes back.
By doing those push notifications with one click, someone's subscribed to your site; they do not need to put in an email or anything, they do not need to offer you any of their personal information, then any time you release more content, promotions, you'll message all of them out and quickly get them back to your site. And you'll use Subscribers to try to do this, subscribers.com.
The fourth thing you would like to try to paid ads. Did you recognize that Google AdWords will offer you $50 or $100 in free ad-spend in many cases? Could you not, believe me, google for it? You will find plenty of offers and coupons like that. And you'll not have an enormous budget, that's okay.
You'll use it to urge started; it'll offer you a fast boost in traffic. Yes, those visitors might not convert into customers because you'll not have enough time to run the optimal campaigns, but it is a great start. Just try that out; you will get a fast boost of traffic. And you recognize what? If you get some sales, you'll keep doing more and more of it over time.
The fifth strategy I even have for you is guest posting. Hit up a number of the most popular guest contributors on other blogs. For instance, if my friend Ravi always blogs on Forbes, I'll hit him up, assuming he is not a friend, but for instance, this random guy named Ravi, I might hit him up being like, "Ravi, "I'm a huge fan of your work, love what you're doing." then I might give him feedback and build that reference to him.
By continually giving Ravi feedback or other guest contributors feedback, teaching them how they will improve, and even giving them topic suggestions, you'll build up that rapport with them, then eventually, after a couple of weeks to a month, asking them to introduce you to the editor of that site and say,
"Hey, I would like to follow in your footsteps "and also write of Forbes or Huffington Post" or whatever it's going to be, you will get an intro from an editor who already writes, which suggests technically you will get an intro from an author who writes to an editor and what you will find is that editor is more likely to reply and accept you because someone who already writes for them recommended you.
Then once you write for them, if you link bent your site, confirm you no-follow the link. you do not want to use that as a link-building tactic. But once you link bent your site and you no follow it, you are not manipulating search engines, and at an equivalent time, you will get referral traffic from it. And also, the last method I even have for you, discuss other blogs in your industry.
