People love playing FPS games. Many of them making a good amount of money by playing games. Many people are making money by playing FPS games. They are either Pro-players who are already playing locally or internationally. Some are game streamers.
Many people want to become good at FPS games, but they won't get better how much they try. It is because they are unaware of some tricks and ways that can make them better gamers.
This article consists of some tricks and some ways for new players to get better at games.
1) Sensitivity:
Sensitivity plays a huge role in aiming and movements. These two things are mandatory to master if someone wants to get better at FPS games.
You might have seen many players making some insane rapid flicks which you can not even judge by your eyes. Those flicks can be made by two things, muscle memory which a player will develop with time, and the second is sensitivity. They can make such rapid and accurate flicks because their game sensitivity is set to their ease.
There are two types of Players:
- High sensitivity players
- Low sensitivity players.
To find out what player you are, you need to see how comfortable you are with both sensitivities. If you feel you can aim better, handle the gun better, handle overall movements better with low sensitivity, you are a low sensitivity player. Many Pro-players are low-sensitivity players as low sensitivity gives you more accuracy.
Just like low-sensitivity players, some pro-players play on high sensitivity. The main advantage of high-sensitivity is that you can make movements slightly quicker than low-sensitivity players. And if you feel you can play better, aim better, and handle guns better with high sensitivity, you are a high sensitivity player.
How to set sensitivity:
After knowing how sensitivity plays an important role, you might be wondering how you can adjust your sensitivity at your ease.
You can find many videos on youtube regarding sensitivity you can watch and learn.
There's one thing that everyone should know that everyone has their sensitivity at which they perform better and feel comfortable. You should not copy someone's sensitivity and force yourself to play on that because they can.
Now let's talk about how you can adjust your sensitivity.

First, open the game you want to adjust sensitivity on.
Then, go to training or make a local match where no one interrupts you.
Standstill and pick a place like a wall or a door.
Now shoot one shot at one side of the door and then shoot at the other side of the door.
Do it nice and slowly.
Then gradually increase speed.
If you see you are over-aiming, then you need to decrease your sensitivity slightly.
If you see you are under-aiming, then you need to increase your sensitivity slightly.
You will get to a point where you feel comfortable moving the mouse.
This does not mean you would be hitting targets accurately but feeling very comfortable moving the mouse.
You need to practice this for at least 10 to 15 minutes every day until you see you very accurately hitting targets.
2) Crosshair:

Crosshair placement, probably the most important point of this article. Crosshair placement plays a big role in aiming and killing enemies faster.
You probably know that if you aim for the head or upper body (chest).
If you have ever seen a stream of a pro player playing the game, you might have noticed that they kill the enemy faster than the enemy player kills them. That is because pro-players always aim for the head or upper body.
Crosshair placement is also critical in corners, and if you have a good crosshair placement, you can see and kill enemies before they can see you.
3) Warm-up:
Never go into a match right after you launch the game. Always go to training or Team Deathmatch for warm-ups. New players make the mistake of going right into a match and complaining about performing well yesterday but not today.
Warm-up is important to perform better at a match.
4) Watch other people play games:

If you need to master a game and be a better player, you need to understand the game. Though you can understand and get better with time, you have to watch other people playing that game if you need to learn quickly. Watch pro-players, how they play, what strategy they use. Watch how they can make decisions in milliseconds. Learn from their mistakes. We love watching streams of people playing games, and you probably have a favorite streamer as well. Watch how your favorite streamer/player plays that game. Or, if your streamer does not play that game, find other people who play that game. Find people who are good at that games. Watch them play, watch the tactics they use, watch how they handle weapons and at what point they switch their weapons.
In short, Watch more, pay less.
5) Practice:
I do not think there is something in this world which anyone can achieve without practicing. Practice every day, even just for 10 minutes. But do it every day. Practice with weapons you are bad at. Practice how people peek corners. Practice how to move smoothly.
6) Headphones:
New players often make the mistake that they do not wear headphones or earphones. Wear headphones every time you play the game. You can sense where the enemy player is coming from or where the shot has fired with headphones. If you are a PC player, gaming headphones are recommended for you. You do not have to buy those expensive headphones; they can also work if you buy those cheap Chinese branded headphones. If you do not have money to buy anything, then use whatever you have.
7) Rage:

DO NOT RAGE. Raging is very common in games. People often rage when they can not perform well enough or something unexpected happens in the enemy player's favor. They rage, and they sometimes rage quit the game. It would help if you did not get angry because you may have made a mistake or someone else made a mistake. Yes, you get angry when you play games but when you feel you will rage, then control yourself.
A chill mind is critical in games.
8) Learn from your mistakes:
Are you someone who learns from mistakes or someone who does not notice what you did wrong and quits the game?
If you are someone who learns from mistakes, then you are on the right path.
Always notice what made your play got wrong, what you could have done to prevent the loss in your game. If you learn from them and try not to make the same mistakes, you will be a good gamer.
9) Cover to cover:

Always move the cover to cover. Whether it's a car or a wall, or any object, use it as a cover. You might have seen many pro-players mostly fight in a cover. This is very useful in a combat situation. You can fight without showing your whole body, and the enemy team won't be able to shoot you as clear as you can.
10) Change positions:
Yes, the last part of the article but definitely not the least. Changing position is very important in a combat situation. Consider you are sniping; you killed one opponent of an enemy team. Now you peak again from the same place, and one of the enemy team opponents would be holding the point where you will peek. In this situation, the enemy team will kill you the second you peek again.
