How to get a clear skin

Consumers today are bombarded by a variety of anti-aging products for the body and face, be it simple cosmetics or surgical procedures, says a health expert. But the fountain of youth actually comes from better nutrition.

Skincare, as can be seen, has been accorded wide importance at all times. In addition, it has been a ubiquitous phenomenon as no part of the world is unaffected by the concern for their skin. Skincare with herbs and plant extracts is finding growing popularity in recent years. This is termed aromatherapy skincare.

Aromatherapy skincare is not a recent concept. Only that we were so engrossed in artificial products that we forgot the huge resource of our nature. Artificial skincare products are easily available. This was the primary plank on which these became the order of the day. For the natural skin care remedies, one had to visit their source, i.e., the forest. This was an impossible task for a common person. So, artificial moisturizers, artificial lotions, artificial sunscreens, and several other artificial skincare products almost enveloped the market.

A survey by the American Academy of Dermatology found that 94 percent of women are obsessed with all available anti-aging treatments (over-the-counter and prescription) as well as procedures available at the doctor's office.

Yet, according to Cheri Calbom, author of "The Wrinkle Cleanse," you can look younger by starting with your diet. Her book describes a four-step approach to getting softer, younger-looking skin, as a diet rich in raw foods, vegetable juices, whole grains, and lean proteins can cleanse the body of toxins. And can protect it from wrinkles and other causes.
The mention of vegetable juices might ring a bell: Calbom, who has a master's degree in nutrition, is known as "The Juice Lady" for her work with juicing and health. She has appeared regularly on the QVC channel for the past eight years and is the author of several books, including "Juicing for Life.

Calbom emphasizes several factors that affect our skin ages, including environmental toxins, sunlight, free radical attacks on cells, inflammation, and a weakened immune system. His approach to creating a better diet to reduce wrinkles has four components:

*Step 1: Includes a quick cleanse with an all-day Vegetable Juice Fast or a two-day raw-food program designed to help repair damaged cells.

* Phase 2: Offers a low-carbohydrate diet for 14 days that includes plenty of vegetables, sprouts, vegetable juices, low-sugar fruits, whole grains, and lean protein. A key aspect of this phase is reducing overall calorie intake.

*Step 3: Composed cleansing programs for your intestinal tract, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and blood. According to Calbom, to fight wrinkles, detoxification is key.

*Step 4: Outlines the vitamins and minerals needed to fight the signs of aging and how they can be incorporated into your diet.

Album offers many nutritional guidelines and more than 75 easy-to-make recipes and menu information. Her strategy emphasizes what she calls "wrinkle fighters"—foods packed with nutrients that help strengthen collagen and elastin for better skin. For example, carrots add shine to the hair; Artichokes for better energy; And almonds are a good source of B vitamins.
