How to follow the health of Senior or Elderly peoples?

A person needs nutrition to stay healthy throughout his life, even when the nutritional needs for physical growth eventually cease. A healthy diet can lengthen life expectancy, improve general quality of life, and hasten the recovery process after surgery, illness, and injuries.

Nutritional ethics

  • A variety of grains, legumes, and cereals should be consumed every day.

  • Low-fat milk and other items connected to milk, such as two glasses (one glass is 240 ml), should be consumed every day.

  • 4 to 5 servings (one serving is equal to one bowl or 125 grams) of fruits and (all colors) green vegetables should be consumed daily.

  • Fruit salad consumption should also be promoted.

  • It is advised to consume 15–20 grams of healthy oil that is low in trans and saturated fat. Alternating between various oils is a good idea.

  • Nuts and oil seeds can be used in place of fats and oils.

  • For non-vegetarians, egg whites, lean chicken curries, and fish are suggested.

Conduct regulations

  • Frequent, regular consumption of little meals. Two meals should not be consumed within a three-hour window.

  • Avoid skipping breakfast, and eat dinner as early as you can.

  • Ensure that your snacks are nutritious.

  • Maintain a balanced, wholesome diet.

  • Eat boiled, steam, roasted, or fried food instead of fried food.

  • Enjoy the meal and share it with others. Avoid frequently consuming alcohol (rich in fat/sugar) and foods that are high in energy.
