Focus is the single most important factor that will determine whether your dreams come true or not. Depending on what your dreams are, there are so numerous gutters to cross. Some hurdles look relatively redoubtable, and a lot of folks give up at the first sign of a reversal.
Focus helps you put your act together. It helps you rally your coffers and conduct them in one direction. That way, you make progress constantly in the direction of your thing or mileposts.

This brings to mind a simple trial we did in inferior high. To draw a simple straight line from point A to point B, without using a straight edge. To do that successfully, we were instructed to mark out the two points at two contrary ends of a plane distance of paper. Also placing our pencil on point A, we were to keep our eyes on point B, as we draw the line. The net effect was a simple (perhaps not perfect) straight line from point A to B. We were told to repeat the trial, this time, place our pencil at point 'a'. And keep our eyes on the pencil as it makes its way to point B. You can guess the result; a crimp line from point A to nowhere. By the time the pencil got to the contrary edge of the paper, we had to look for point B is. We had all gone way off the mark.
It was a simple and important assignment to focus on, though sorely, many of us took it to heart; keep your eyes where you're going, and you'll get there. Keep your eyes where you are, and you'll get lost.
Have you ever wondered what's the difference between an attraction and a nail? They're both made of carbon swords. It's in its molecular structure. Each has a north and south opposition. In the attraction, all the motes are in perfect alignment, all north poles pointing in one direction (to make the North Pole) and all south poles pointing in the contrary direction (to make the South Pole). This is what accumulates to constitute the glamorous force. In the nail, the alignment is erratic. They point in all directions. The net effect is that the electromagnetic forces cancel themselves and the attendant glamorous force is nil.
Still, it sucks it in, If you bring a nail within the glamorous field of an attraction. While still attached to the attraction, the nail becomes an attraction too and can attract another essence. What happens is the glamorous force of the attraction forces the motes in the nail to put their act together and line over in one direction. However, its molecular array returns to its former state, and it becomes anon-magnet one further time If you remove the nail.
The attraction is a focused Joe. He pulls its coffers together and achieves. The nail is a confused Joe, he deploys its coffers in all directions, jumps from design to design, and cancels out whatever progress he'd have made.
As a shrewd director of the time, energy, and coffers, we need to plan and concentrate. You may have a thousand ideas. Produce an idea bank on your computer and store them for keeping. Each idea has its time. Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come. However, you wear yourself out and add your idea to your database of abandoned systems, If you run before time. Rather than the idea motivating you, it now becomes a source of despondency.
Each well-run army knows its strategic strengths, and how numerous theaters of war it can make simultaneously. However, it sets itself up for defeat, If it overstretches itself.
It may be time to step back, review your current ongoing systems. Take an alternate look at your short-term and long-term pretensions. Do you still believe in your dream? If so, look at systems that are on the critical path to the fulfillment of your dream. Suspend systems that distract you from getting to where you're headed. However, assign precedence to them, continue with the most critical, If all your ongoing systems are applicable. Pursue one design to its logical conclusion. It'll continue to thrive, as you break new grounds. Also, you can take on other systems, if and only if they don't distract you, or decelerate down your primary thrust.
It doesn't make sense to complain that you don’t have enough time to do the effects you need to do, simply because you got your life cluttered with so numerous effects that are nice, but not necessary.
It's great to start. Utmost folks don’t. But starting alone isn't enough. Finish what you start. The ensign belongs to those who finish, not to starters. The end of the matter is better than the morning thereof. However, you'll get to the finish line, If you remain riveted long enough.
