Sometimes we think that to train the whole body we need to invest a lot of time and perform numerous exercises focused on all muscle groups, but the truth is that we must not go crazy. If you don't have much time, or you simply want to be in shape without having to invest endless hours in the gym or with your routines at home, there are many options to carry out a complete workout with which to work both the muscles of the upper body and the lower body. Obviously, there are numerous specific exercises for different muscle groups and your training goals may force you into routines in which you have to include many of them, but we are going to share with you three exercises with which to maximize training time. The exercises are especially recommended by Sergio Panino, a graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and a personal trainer, and they meet several objectives: work the muscles of the back and elbow flexors, such as the biceps; work pectorals, shoulders, and triceps, and glutes, quadriceps or twins. But before completing the exercise routine, it is important to warm up well before starting physical activity to improve performance during training and also avoid the risk of injury. The warm-up that Peinado proposes is in itself an additional routine, with cardio and body weight exercises that prepare us for what is to come. And it is that the three exercises proposed by the personal trainer (plus an alternative for one of them) can become demanding since weights are used in all of them. Along these lines, there are many ways to add extra resistance if you don't have dumbbells, barbells, or equipment on hand. Backpacks or water bottles are some of them, but if you have the slightest doubt about technique or weight, consult a professional. Warm-up and training routine pre-heating Knees-up (20 seconds) Jumping Jacks (20 seconds) Squats (20 seconds) Push-ups (20 seconds) training routine Weighted lunges: 10 repetitions. Weighted push-ups: 10 repetitions. Dominated: the ones you can. If not, you can perform a chest pull (10 repetitions). Rest 30 seconds between exercises, but if you need more time, that's fine. Do 3-6 laps of the circuit, depending on the time you have and your physical condition. Remember that it is important to look for progression and, above all, those routines or exercises that suit your circumstances. The truth is that there are many ways to train, and each person is a world. But you already know that the perfect routine for you is the one that makes you create more adherence. That is to say, that the training adapts to you, and you can maintain it over, concludes Sergio Peinado.
