How to find the peace of mind

The world works in chaos, and so does the mind. Most people are always in a state of mind where they have two options and don’t know which one to choose. These kinds of people end up making the wrong decision, in the end.

If I start from the beginning all the people in this world want to have a successful, amazing, charming, and good life but the thing they want most is peace. Which they never have enough and crave this one thing the most. They visit many places in finding this one thing but they can’t have it because the thing which is inside cannot be found outside whether they go to temples, Holy places, spiritual gurus, or on adventure trips.

There are very few ways to have peace and all the method are connected from within not from outside. One can have a few moments of peace but the endless peace, which they want is very hard to get because even when people go on trips, they are more or less concerned about their job and life. They are always planning the future which doesn’t let them enjoy the present moments of their life and peace is always found in the present because the present is all that we have, rest all in just imagination.

The major practice that one should do is to try to stay focused on the present rather than focusing on the future as we don’t have control over the future and the past is gone, so even if we look practical present is all we have but the mind always keeps itself busy with past or future. The reason behind this is mind wants to have sweet, beautiful relaxed memories that are very hard to get in day-to-day life so the mind keeps itself busy by making a future plan or enjoying the sweet memories of the past as it’s a hard practice to stay in the present but there are few methods to do that one is meditation and other is self-awareness.

Meditations are of many types and have many names but the process they follow is one that is to train the mind to stay in the present whether you call it Vippasana, Osho’s method, Sudarshan kriya, Shambhavi kriya all of these will train you how to stay in present without getting distracted but all these meditations need regular practice and continuity.

There are few other ways by which a normal person can practice in daily life with the help of all 5 senses one can watch old people this teaches the mind that nothing is permanent and one day all have to end and everyone has to die. One can hear the changing sounds in nature which are of different frequencies which teach the mind that change is constant and inevitable. The smell of everything is different whether good or bad but this also trains the mind that with moment and time the smells also change. The taste of different things is different and with every cuisine, the taste of every spice can be felt on the tongue this also helps and tells the mind that everything changes.

All this work is done just to train the mind that the only thing which is happening all the time is changing the only constant in the universe is change and once the mind attains the level of understanding that everything change so it will not harbour any grudges and it will learn that what comes goes the very next second.
