HOW TO FIND CLIENTS ?

HOW TO FIND CLIENTS

Here's a spoiler. Working with the wrong customers is not fun. But you probably already knew that. Every freelancer will be happy if they only have to work with reasonable customers. Of course, good and evil mean something different to everyone, but you can see what I'm getting at. So how do you make sure you are working with good clients? It's about understanding what kind of client you want to work with and believing that you can deliver. That's it. Knowing this puts you in the driver's seat, and instead of reacting to people coming to you for help, you can actively find customers.

And build relationships with the people you want to work with. But you need to be conscious, patient, and a little bit picky. Do you want clients who rely on your creative direction? Or maybe the clients who are responsible and sound and are communicating? Or perhaps you have a specific industry that you prefer. Let's say you are a copywriter who likes to work with real estate companies. Instead of expecting those clients to stumble upon your website or come to you, you can start actively reaching them. Now, even if they are not in a position to hire you right now, you can start building relationships. These clients can be particular, have a big name, or be accustomed to working with someone with a long track record, a large team, and so on. But if you have confidence in yourself, they will trust you in choosing. And over time, as you build relationships with more and more customers who are thought to be your best clients, some of them will eventually be willing to hire you.

Then, do good to them. And once you start working with your ideal clients, it becomes easier to work with more of them. The clients you like to work with are surrounded by other people like you. This is human nature. The more clients you work with and do good work with, the better potential clients will talk about you. But it also works in reverse. Good clients attract good clients, and bad clients attract bad clients. So it would be best if you were prepared for it anyway. A word of warning, sometimes it may not be apparent if there is the type of client you want until you start talking within the scope of work or send a suggestion. It's never too late to plug in a project proposal if you think it's not good for you. So believe me Do a good job and choose your customers. Your work will improve, and your enthusiasm for your appointment will increase.
