Almost all children worldwide will be impacted by climate change.
For many parents, discussing climate change with their own children can be difficult. It is only natural to desire to shield children from danger and stress. However, if your child is of a particular age, it's likely that they have already heard about climate change from friends, the internet, or school.
It should come as no surprise that children have a wide range of emotions in response to climate change, including fear, anxiety, sadness, and anger. These are all perfectly normal reactions to something as unpredictable and destructive.

Make every effort to expose your child to the outdoors. Playing outside with them fosters their appreciation of and reverence for the natural world.
When you're out in the open with each other, stop and point out anything that catches your eye, like a bird, a tree, a cloud, or a spiderweb. Children can be encouraged to develop a curiosity and sense of wonder for the natural world by simply slowing down and taking the time to enjoy the beauty of nature. Combine seeds to witness the growth of something from nothing.
5. Pay attention to the fixes
Make an effort to provide a solution for each issue you bring up. Examine with your child the names and faces of those who are addressing climate change. Talk about uplifting and motivating news articles you've seen.
