How to enhance your capability
The power of easiness: A myth or Truth
An old Zen master was climbing atop a mountain with stillness inside the Tibetan plateau when a young mountaineer after going through so many teachings was directed towards him as his last resort of hope.
As he approached him, he asked the master how without any huff & puff he can manage such a vertical climb. At first, the master was silent for a long time, the mountaineer tried everything to be able to make his breath counts low while climbing but things went in vain, yet he was climbing parallel with the master . After a long , torturing climb for the mountaineer but peaceful one for the master , he asked the master why it was an hectic climb for him and a wonderful one for the master .
After a long , torturing climb for the mountaineer but peaceful one for the master , he asked the master why it was an hectic climb for him and a wonderful one for the master .
The master looked at him for a few minutes then smiled and told him : to bring a glass full of water, the mountaineer went for the search of water , finally he reached a point beneath cliff where he found water but in ice form, he searched for a glass in his bag pack but found none, so he collected water in his hand glove and walked back to the master.
As he reached the master was meditating, after the master came out of his meditation, the young fellow offered him water, and the master looked at him with great compassion and said now it’s time that you receive answers to your questions:
1. Body is going straight from the womb to tomb, hence time is an important factor, Despite of it everything depends on one’s attitude towards life
2. In between, every aspect of life is our own choice, helter-skelter or stillness is also our own choice, the thing is that the latter gives one an ability of ease ( within the body, within the mind) and thus increases one’s capability manifold of handling different aspects of life, be it Education, career, marriage, relationship with people or at work e.t.c..
3. Now, it’s your choice whether you have to imbibe above statement as a Truth or a myth.
Anyway everything that’s happening in the existence is truth, it’s our mind which perceives things from Truth to Untruth(myth).
· Ps: Mind is like a mirror , if it’s a plain mirror as of the Zen Master then it sees everything as it is , thus empowering the Zen Master to live with ease hence increasing his capabilities manifold.
· But if it’s like a distorted mirror as that of the young mountaineer, then he perceives everything in distortion, thus minisculing his capabilities in various aspects of life .
· To move from uneasiness to easiness one has to strive and strive joyfully, he has to learn the sense of abandon .
· He has to learn a sense of detachment , how can one learn the sense of detachment?
It’s very simple, one has to lose himself so that he enjoys every aspect of life, be it Education , career or handling relationships and responsibilities with people but without the sense of entanglement
