Makeup is something that every girl likes to wear. But some unhealthy habits can damage your skin and cause acne and aging. Using the right product is critical. It’s far better to have naturally healthy skin than the one that needs makeup to hide blemishes.
First of all, you need to take care of your skin regularly. A skincare routine is necessary for every woman worldwide as women's skin is too sensitive.
This article will guide you to achieve a glowy and fresh look with minimal makeup and, of course, without letting your skin gets damaged.
But before going ahead, I would like to remind you all that you all are beauty queens. You all have your own choices. If you like to wear tons of makeup, then go for it. But this article is for those who don't like to wear loads of makeup but still want to enhance their features.
What is minimal makeup?
It is exactly as it sounds. The use of significantly fewer products to enhance your features is minimal makeup look. You don't have to do full face makeup. There is no need to bake your face. It hardly takes 5 to 6 products to finish the look.
All you need to know is right here. So, let's get started!
-
Wash face with mild facial cleanser.
It’s essential to wash your face before doing any makeup as it removes dust from your skin. Try to use a mild facial cleanser. Determine your skin type and get a cleaner according to it. But still, if you need a favor, I'm here.
I can recommend you all some best yet affordable facial cleansers.
- Neutrogena fresh foaming facial cleanser
- Cetaphil cleanser
- Clean & clear
These cleansers are for all types of skins.
-
Apply a moisturizer/ facial serum
To keep your skin healthy and fresh, don't forget to apply moisturizer to your skin. OR you can use any facial serum as well. It creates a layer on the face and will protect it from makeup that we will do. I don't care if your skin is dry or oily; moisturizer is essential.
-
Apply sunscreen/sunblock
Sunscreen plays a significant role in protecting your skin from damage. Whether you go out or stay at home, always apply sunscreen in the daytime. Also, when you use sunscreen before starting your makeup, it gives a glowy finish to your look.
-
Primer
Primer improves the coverage, and your makeup stays on for a longer time. Put a tiny amount of primer on your cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. If you don't have open pores, you can skip this step.
-
Concealer
Apply a minimal amount of concealer under your eyes and around your nose, and then blend it very softly. You don't have to use any foundation, bb cream, or cc cream on your face. If you have any imperfections, then just use a bit more concealer.
-
Blush & lipstick
I would recommend you to get a good tint for your cheeks and lips. Stains always look natural and are easy to apply. Get a shade according to your complexion and apply it to your cheeks and lips. And if you don't like tint, then go for powdered or cream blush and use it. You can do the trick with your lips as well. Apply Vaseline or any lip balm, and then apply blush on it. This way, It will last longer.
-
Mascara
Without mascara, our makeup is incomplete. The last step is to apply mascara as it makes your eyes look wider and opened. Apply on both upper and lower lash lines.
Final words
Everyone is beautiful in their way!
Putting a lot of makeup and changing your face is different from just enhancing your facial features.
Be simple, be classy!
