Malnutrition and unhealthy eating habits can reduce immunity and make you susceptible to infectious diseases. So just get into the habit of eating a balanced diet.

Cereals with bran

Instead of using processed grains, you can use grains with bran like rice, sorghum, wheat etc. Bran contains vitamins like niacin, thiamine, folic acid and minerals like zinc, iron, magnesium and manganese.

All these increase immunity and prevent infection. People who are infected should eat fast digestible food

Fruits and vegetables

You can eat nuts

As they contain nutrients like vitamin-E, magnesium and fiber, nuts can be eaten to boost immunity and ease the digestive process. They are also good for increasing good cholesterol. It is very good if you eat 15-20 grams of nuts daily. Mixed nuts are better than using the same type of nuts
