7 Ways To Make Money with Your YouTube Channel.

With over one billion people using YouTube, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of ways to earn money with this platform. There are lots of new businesses that have been started because of people making money through their YouTube channels.
1) Start your own eCommerce business:
Starting an eCommerce business can be a great way to make money online. Platforms like Shopify make it possible to set up an eCommerce store quickly and easily, allowing you to sell from anywhere. You don’t have to worry about product storage, shipping, or customer service—Shopify handles all of that for you. There are many styles of eCommerce businesses, so if you’re creative enough and have excellent photography skills, starting your own clothing line may be a good option for you. If you’re interested in selling a more niche product, something along the lines of hand-made jewelry might work well. No matter what sort of products you decide to sell, there will most likely be demand for them on Etsy. The website is full of people looking for unique goods who are willing to pay top dollar for quality items. In order to get started building out your store on Etsy, one thing you'll need is some crafts supplies.
2) Sell on Amazon:
Amazon is not only a place to buy goods; it’s also a platform for selling your own merchandise. If you are making and selling things online, consider selling them on Amazon. The e-commerce behemoth handles all fulfillment and customer service, which means you don’t have to worry about an order coming in and not having enough stock on hand to fill it. Create an account at Seller Central, sign up as a professional seller (which will require a $39.99/month subscription fee), and then list your products. You can make money from these sales directly or collect fees from third-party merchants who sell through Amazon. Either way, it’s a win. And if you really want to step up your game, check out these strategies for how to make money selling on Amazon.
3) Sell Products on Pinterest:
One of my favorite ways to make money from a hobby is to sell products that I already love and use. For example, I started an eBay store for my shoe collection, and now it makes over $1,000 a month without much time invested each week. Best of all, there’s very little startup cost involved in creating your own store (most things you can find at thrift stores!). Check out Michelle Rhee’s full How to Sell on eBay guide here. You could also create a new e-commerce site as well using WordPress! There are tons of great shopping cart plugins available if you do not want to build your own e-commerce site from scratch. It will take some work up front, but once it’s up and running, it doesn’t take too much maintenance.
4) Use Patreon:
Patreon allows fans to send creators a small monthly stipend, which can be as low as $1. Think of it as an ongoing Kickstarter campaign for creative people who want to work on their craft full-time. It's also an opportunity for your most loyal fans to get involved and contribute value in ways beyond just streaming/playing/watching. That said, you should only start using Patreon if you think you have enough engaged fans (or potential ones) to make it worthwhile. If not, you might consider other options instead—see below!
5) Have a Shopify Store:
It seems that everyone is setting up a Shopify store, and it’s easy to see why. You don’t need lots of technical knowledge to get started, and there are a ton of templates you can use for free. Just make sure you have a good product or service before opening your online shop! Learn more about how to start an eCommerce website here.
6) Create Online Courses:
If you have a niche or specialty, creating an online course is a great way to showcase your expertise and help people overcome an issue that they may be experiencing. For example, if you’re a hairstylist, create an online course on how to style women’s hair as well as men’s; if you run marathons, write a guide on how to improve running times by X minutes or in Y seconds. The possibilities are endless! You can also make money from courses by charging for them (think: $20-$50 per course). However, depending on what industry you’re in, it may not be easy to find clients willing to pay for training. In fact, many professional organizations offer free training resources that would allow members of their community access to high-quality information—all without having to pay anything at all. Consider taking advantage of these opportunities before deciding whether you want to charge for your courses.
7) Earn Money With Affiliate Marketing:
Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to monetize your channel, as it allows you to make money by promoting other companies' products. This can be a great way to earn side income on autopilot. (See also: What Is Affiliate Marketing?) For example, if you were to promote a product from Amazon in one of your videos and then send out an affiliate link for that product—when someone clicks through and buys it—you would receive a percentage of that sale. Amazon rewards affiliates for sending them customers, so there are different ways to incorporate affiliate marketing into your content strategy.
