Twitter (X) Account Creation
If you are doing this work on mobile, open the Twitter app.
If you are doing this on laptop, open x.com.
Because Twitter’s new name is X.com since Elon Musk bought Twitter.
You will follow the same steps on mobile.
Step 1: Open Twitter
- Go to Google
- Search Twitter
- Open X.com
You’ll see options to Sign up or Sign in.
Click Create Account.
You can sign up using:
- Apple
- Or manually
👉 We will create the account manually (this is better).
Step 2: Enter Details
- Enter your real name
- Enter your real email
- Enter your date of birth
Click Next.
Twitter will ask if you want to receive updates and recommendations.
✔ Tick all three checkboxes
Click Next.
Sometimes Twitter may ask for your phone number:
- Enter your phone number
- Make sure the country code is correct
Click Next again.
Step 3: Choose Username
Choose a unique username that no one has taken.
For example:
- “Khaliqdad” was already taken
- So we added letters and made it available
Once available → Click Next
Allow notifications.
Step 4: Choose Interests
Twitter will ask what you want to see:
- Technology
- News
- Business
- Crypto
- Gaming
- etc.
👉 Don’t select too many
Just select 1 or 2 categories
Click Next.
Step 5: Follow at Least One Account
- Twitter requires you to follow at least one account.
- For example, follow Elon Musk.
Click Next.
Twitter will show Premium plans —

Click the X (close) button.
🎉 Congratulations! Your profile is created
This completes Step 1.
Even if you already have a Twitter account, create a new one specifically for this work.
Step 2: Profile Optimization (MOST IMPORTANT)
This is the most important step of the article.

Go to:
- Profile
- Click Edit Profile

Add a cover photo:
- Create it using Canva
- Upload it

Rename the image file

- If it’s for yourself → use your profile name
Upload → Adjust → Apply
Profile Photo
- Clear image
- Light smile
- Face clearly visible

Rename the image before uploading.
Name & Bio
Enter your name.
Now write your Bio.
Bio Formula (Very Important)

Click Save
Enable Direct Messages
Go to:

Set DM to Allow from Everyone (for beginners)
Later, when your account grows:
- Change it to Verified Accounts Only

Create & Pin Your First Post
Now create one post and pin it.
Click Post
