How To Drink Milk In A Proper Way?

We all know that milk is an essential nutrient which our body needs. In fact, milk alone can provide such nutrients which other food components cannot. But we can acquire those nutrients only if we properly drink milk. Do you know that almost 99% of us drink milk in the wrong way, for which we suffer from skin allergies, bloating, digestion problems, kidney disorders, and other health issues?

Here, in this writing, you will be finding five reasons we are drinking milk in the wrong way and some measures to correct it.

Five reasons we are drinking milk in the wrong way:-

1. With our daily meal -                                       Milk itself is a complete food. But most of us include milk in our lunch or dinner.  Doing this indicates intake of two meals at a time. It also indicates excessive pressure in our digestive system. Therefore, there should be a minimum of two hours of gap between a meal and milk.

2. With salty food -                                              Do you love eating your salty foods with milk? If yes, then you are knowingly or unknowingly damaging your body, resulting in toxins and skin problems. Doesn’t matter how much you are taking care of your skin, but this will change your entire game. That’s why keep at least 1 hour of the gap.

3. Chilled milk -                                                     Normally, we love to take chilled milk during summers, maybe milkshakes or cold coffee. But to be honest, it is not a good choice. Milk itself is heavy in nature; that’s why digestion becomes difficult for chilled milk. This may result from gas, bloating, or constipation. Therefore, we should heat the milk before drinking it. Heating milk causes deduction of its molecular particles and becomes easy to digest.

4. Addition of sugar -                                           Milk is naturally sweet as it contains lactose. It is mostly seen that adding those chemically refined sugar makes the milk indigestive. That’s why some people find it hard to digest it. Sugar can be replaced with jaggery(gur), rock sugar(mishri), or honey.

5. With fruits -                                                       It is hard to believe, but the bitter truth is that milk is incompatible with fruits. Generally, milk with sour fruits like lemon or tangerine should be strictly avoided. But in exceptional cases, it can be drunk with amla(Indian gooseberry). Other than that, it can be drunk with dates, bananas, and mango only when it is fully ripped and sweet.

Now, we shall see some corrective measures to drink milk so that we can gain maximum benefits.
