Once you've decided which avatar to use, you will then see the avatar at the top of the webpage.
Now you can follow the link to the "1 character profile", where you will be shown a new avatar to choose from, and the avatar will start by populating itself.
Once this completes, you will see a search menu appear in the webpage, where you will be asked a number of questions. If you have provided a fake account on the website, you will see "True" on the screen, and if not, you will see a text that says "Go Only to 1 Character Profile."
