Many people with blogs get discouraged after a few weeks or months when their blog fails to attract thousands of readers. This is a real shame because if bloggers followed a few simple blog marketing steps, they would probably find that there is a willing audience that can read about most topics. So what can a blogger do to get noticed? Here are some blog marketing ideas that should ensure most blogs get reasonable traffic in a short amount of time.

Types of blogs

Niche Blog: The world doesn't really need another "vanity blog" about what you had for breakfast. Unless you're a supermodel and a good-looking teenage girl who wants to put lots of photos on her blog, you're probably going to have a hard time getting noticed. If you already have a vanity blog and are wondering why you are not getting traffic, then you need to know that the market for vanity blogs is completely saturated. Consider starting or changing your blog to a different topic – such as an interest or hobby.

Forum posting 

Next, you need to start posting on the forums. Put the blog URL in your forum signature (don't spam the forums with "check out my blog"). If you naturally join the conversation, people will be curious. And you'll get a few more readers. If the forum you post to is also on a similar topic to your blog, you're likely to get repeat readers from it! Try to find the most popular forums in the niche you are writing about. To find them, go to Google and search for your niche keyword plus "forum" and you should get a list. Try to find forums with at least a few thousand active members.

Trackbacks and pingbacks

Make sure that you always do trackbacks and pingbacks to other blogs you've linked to, so they know about you. When people find out you talked about them, they will come to see what you said. So do some of their readers. Talking about popular stories from popular blogs can get you many more than just a few visitors.

Comment on other people's blogs as much as you can (without spamming or anything else). In most cases, you can link back to your own blog and people will follow those links as well. It's also a very good idea to target blogs that talk about the same topic and things as you because then you get targeted by readers who are more likely to continue reading your blog. (Avoid using 'comment spam' programs, as Google can track this and will penalize you).

Updating blog every time

Most importantly, you must keep blogging! No one will ever come back to a blog that is updated weekly or only occasionally. You will need to add more content at least once a day, especially in the early stages of getting your blog noticed. This is extremely, very important. and the last thing is you can post your blog link to Instagram of famous people so that more  people will come to your blog
