How to Discover Yoga’s Healing Power?

There are a number of medical conditions that can be improved by practicing yoga. It can be used to reduce the side effects of infertility, pneumonia, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, cancer, high blood pressure, and joint pain. The beneficial effects of yoga practice are well documented not only by the yoga community but also by medical professionals. One of the main factors leading to depression is depression. Being responsible for a numerous illness, this thing, which we develop in our minds, can be reduced by making good use of yoga techniques. Here are some of the problems associated with the reaction to excessive stress: depression, anxiety, compulsive disorder, other types of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, several autoimmune diseases, colitis, reproductive problems, and severe immune suppression. The reaction of the sympathetic nervous system can cause stress in our metabolism. Reactions to a variety of external factors are also known as "war or flight" response - mind and body, facing a dangerous or disruptive factor, prepare for one of two options. In the body, this is characterized by rapid heart rate, as well as high blood pressure. Breathing becomes shallow, and the muscles tighten in anticipation of the next action. Internally, this response reduces blood flow to the internal organs and processes that are not essential at that moment (such as digestion and elimination) are shut down.

This state of increased awareness and readiness is beneficial in the short term, preparing our body to respond to external interventions and motives. In both "war" and "flight" mode, the body is physically and mentally ready to do something. The problem arises when prolonged exposure to the same stress occurs. This "fight or flight" response is intended to help only the short-term - if activated for a long time, small resources will be required for the body to function normally. There is a natural balance of response to "fight or flight". It is called the parasympathetic nervous system or “relaxation response.” It works automatically when the stress-causing elements are gone, but it is also possible to maximize its effects by taking a deep breath and relaxing your muscles. By increasing the length of this process, we allow our body to recover faster, which in turn eliminates the harmful effects of stress in a fast and effective way. Yoga highlights the idea that by using breathing and relaxation techniques, you can reduce the harmful effects of stress on your body. Reduced responses to "war or flight" can be achieved by viewing negative aspects as challenges rather than threats. This approach allows your mind to focus on finding a solution, rather than on a sudden one. One concept used by this method is to compare reaction, to taking action and responding to external factors. The positive effects of yoga during the healing process are undeniable. However, these therapies should only be used as a support and healing should not depend solely on them. The best results are obtained by combining yoga with traditional and modern medicine and dealing with the problem both mentally and physically.
