Very few people are concerned with their spiritual health, which has a profound effect on the whole mental and physical health. Spirituality is different for each individual. It can be compared to traditional religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, or Buddhism. It can also be seen in the level of growth a person experiences in personal relationships, or in just being at peace with nature.
Those who do not care for their spiritual needs often experience deep sadness, depression, intense anger, fear, anxiety, and sadness. These negative emotions can create a state of emotional, physical and mental dysfunction. People who are physically and emotionally traumatized often carry a broken heart and a contrite heart, as if they were constantly plagued by hardships and life's anxieties. They do not realize that their sad hearts are a force for good or for bad. Rejecting deep depression will only aggravate the condition and may even lead to serious heart disease and disease.
Recent research has shown an association between stress and anxiety, as well as the development of heart disease. They are considered to be a risk factor for high cholesterol and diabetes. According to research, depressed patients are twice as likely to die from complications of heart disease, compared with people who do not have depression. Some experts even suggest that depression and anxiety should be included as new risk factors for developing heart disease.
Individual and unfriendly people are more likely to be ill, with a higher risk of heart disease and a shorter lifespan, than those who are blessed with a wide circle of friends and other relationships that provide emotional and moral support. There seems to be a direct link between illness and lack of love, as recorded in a study by Dean Cornish, M.D., a respected cardiologist at the University of California at San Francisco.
A few years ago, scientists discovered that inflammation of the coronary arteries plays a role in causing the arteries to clog with cholesterol. Two of the most effective heart medications, beta-blockers and ACE inhibitors, work at the level of hormones, reducing the effect of adrenaline released when we are angry, anxious, or depressed. These drugs have always been miraculous, reducing the mortality rate by 30 percent.
However, there are many patients who do not respond well to drugs due to emotional and physical illness. This is where alternative therapies, such as meditation, prayer, or psychotherapy, come into play.
One such type of meditation therapy is called Sufism, or Practicing Remembrance - an ancient spiritual practice that originated in Islam, and is best known in the West for Roman poetry. Sufism focuses on its many practical and effective methods of healing the heart in a simple but miraculous way to unleash the healing rays of love.
Practice remembering is a long-respected form of therapy that uses a combination of breathing and sounds to open the heart to intense love. What you will remember if you use this method is the concept of love. In many spiritual groups, the concept of love with God is interchangeable. For the Sufi's, the practice of remembering the duplication of God's name by a number of sequences or cycles. Each time God's name is repeated, love flows from the heart. This is an ongoing process of repetition that has the power to cleanse your heart of all improper vibrations and stress. But it is important to visualize love or the spirit that enters the heart when the sound is repeated.
Spiritual health is about finding a sense of purpose in your life, and living for the purpose and purpose of your existence.
