How To Cure Fever In Children?

What should parents do if their children become ill with the flu? 

 

  If a child develops a sudden fever, we are unsure what to do. Before going to the doctor, we won't know what to do to keep the body temperature under control.

 

  With youngsters, having a home thermometer is a smart idea. If the baby's body temperature appears to be rising, take a temperature using a thermometer very away.

 

  The temperature of the fever should not surpass 100 degrees Celsius.

 

  It is beneficial to make youngsters wear thin cotton clothing. This will keep your body temperature from climbing any higher.

 

 Sleeping under a fan is preferable to sleeping in an air-conditioned room.

1. Remedies with a wet cloth

 

  In our houses, this is a common cure. Controlling body temperature is really beneficial. In a bowl of lukewarm water, soak a cotton cloth. Place the cloth on the forehead and squeeze it. Using water, clean the baby's body.

 

  If a baby is to be bathed, it should be in lukewarm water. Do not give the baby a bath in regular water.

 

2. Water is necessary

 

  Dehydration and dry skin can be caused by excessive heat. It's vital to keep babies hydrated at all times. Breastfeeding should be done often for babies under the age of six months. Water and fruit juices can be given to babies over the age of six months.

 

3. Onion

 

  Onions aid in the reduction of body temperature. To lower the temperature, cut the onion into large round pieces and rub it on the baby's feet for 2 minutes. At least twice a day, do this.

 

4. Basil water

 

  As soon as a child realizes they have the flu, they can boil basil leaves in water. Basil water should be administered until the fever has completely subsided.

 

5. Lemonginger and honey

 

  Children over the age of one year can use this treatment. Take 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and mix it with 1 teaspoon of water. 4 drops of ginger juice and 1 teaspoon of honey To achieve the best benefits, give it twice a day, in the morning and evening.

During a fever, it's critical to consume a basic meal like porridge and rest.

 

Note: If you have any symptoms during the fever, such as vomiting or diarrhea, you should see a pediatrician right once.

 

 During a fever, children should not be bathed in cold water. Bathing should only be done in warm water.

 

 It is preferable to soak the towel in warm water and wipe it clean for youngsters under the age of one year.
