How To Create Your Store On eBay

How To Create Your Own Shopify Store On eBay.

If you are new to the world of selling online, then you might be wondering just how to go about building your own shop.

To get started, let’s first take a look at what an eBay store looks like… A traditional eBay store.

There are two main ways in which you can add your brand/shop to eBay. However, before we get into each one, there are some prerequisites you need to jump through hoops before you start…

Find an existing business on eBay:

You’ll need to find an existing business on eBay. That’s not as easy of a process as it sounds, and not something you can do easily. What has been done is that they have already created their own site for them, they could simply upload the item list themselves, or they hire someone to do all that.

Either way, these businesses already know their target audience and understand the intricacies of selling on our platform in the best possible way. So now you have an easy walk-through, and you know exactly where to start when building your store. From here, you get an idea of the types of products you can sell, and how much profit you’ll make. You then decide if your business has any specific branding you want to be included in the listing, then it is time to begin your hunt for that… domain name!

The next thing you need is your own web hosting account, which isn’t a piece of cake either. I have never been able to find a great, affordable one anywhere else, so I opted to use GoDaddy’s free plan.

Once you’ve got these ducks in a row (or should I say eggs in a basket), it’s time to start looking around for a site for your new business. Now you might think, ‘that sounds easy enough, right?’ Wrong! Not only is finding a place to host your shop very difficult, but it is completely the opposite of what most people who are wanting to sell, start out with! Finding your own space to host and even grow your own brand online is, without a doubt, one of the hardest things to do.

Luckily, my friend Joe came up with a really simple solution. He said he’d give me his email address and I would create the directory. We would put in names and locations we wanted to include, and I would email him back everything we needed to create a perfect site. His exact method is similar to Joe’s method, but on a smaller scale. It was certainly challenging, no doubt making it hard work, but it worked, so why not use it? Because it took less than five minutes.

Now it's time to put yourself together, make sure all the pieces you need are there and all the tools and equipment are available to help you build your dream website! With all that hard work, you’ll probably end up with at least 80% (depending on how many people want to sell) of your money and more, so hopefully, I’ve helped you along and made it easy for you too. Good luck!
