Practicing…
Now that you’ve learned how to create a good web app on the internet, practice is the key. That’s why you should go try and create some interesting projects on the internet.
This is an example of one of the projects I’ve worked on during my early days of learning how to program.
But that wasn’t my idea of a web app so I brainstormed some other ideas that are probably better suited for my needs. Let’s see how.
Learning with other people…
The best way to learn how to make a web app is by getting experience with others who do that job. With that said, there are different types of mentors who can really be helpful in achieving those goals. You’ll have the option to seek advice or ask questions from people you come across in the campus gym. Then on your own, you can look into not only volunteering in your local library but also asking around for people who can help guide you to your goals. (Side note: Do research on different people and the working environments for your job!)
Getting an internship…
Internships are a way to gain a better idea of the way things work in different departments or professions. But if you’re interested in doing a project that needs the integration of the web, and have a fond interest in programming, then you really need to explore options on your campus. For example, look at your career pathway to see if there are specific research projects in your field that would be beneficial. In addition, you can also look into how much funding a program offers which helps you to attain a project or achievement that you set your sights on.
Budgeting…
You should know about the basic data processing methods used for Python with git clones. This will give you a great base to make things happen! In the PDF below, I show you what those methods are and how to use them to convert your CSV to a data frame.
A language note…
Luckily, you’ll be able to learn almost all the basics of coding in Python with TensorFlow in a few minutes. The most difficult part of the Kaggle competition was rewriting your entire code. I realize that this might seem almost impossible because you’ve never encountered this in any practice environment. But by following the example I have given below, you can significantly skip this chunk of development. (If you’re still not sure what to write, check out this excellent library for beginners.)
Having something to show everyone…
This one isn’t so much of a challenge. You don’t have to spend hours, days, weeks creating your own website or working on your programming library. What you need is to get to show your friends and family why you are serious about web development. This is more important to go where they are — your community. In other words, you don’t need to create an entire website from scratch. You don’t need to hold a web conference. As long as you show that you are interested and actually do something about it, you have already proved why.
After that, start showing your web app in front of the folks you care about — professors, professors, and other teachers. While teaching these subject matter students are asking lots of questions that need to be answered. Start taking pictures of their excitement and then share your answers with them. You can even show it on your profile on their email lists or download the code from git clone and share your code with them!
To be sure, if you are a student, I recommend getting as many discussions as possible! definitely get some feedback and eventually get yourself in a good Blogspot article and showcase your accomplishments with another web app.
