The traditional education systems in South Asia are designed to inculcate among students the sense of patriotism, as security appears to be the prime objective of the state. Generally, competitive examinations are of two types. High positions are filled through subjective papers based examinations, whereas a single MCQs paper is taken for induction in lower scales. At this stage, candidates are mature enough to judge their own capabilities. High brains are advised to go for subjective papers to prove their mettle.
