How to Cook Fried Rice or Porridge, also known as Black Rice, or Karuppu Kavuni Arisi

Forbidden rice, also known as Kavuni Arisi, is beneficial for shedding pounds.  It takes a little while to prepare or cook black rice, but the effort is worthwhile. One healthy breakfast dish I've provided is for Kavuni Arisi Idli (black rice idli). Today I'm going to show you how to cook black rice (kavuni arisi) for a porridge or dessert as well as how to cook regular rice for fried rice or other types of rice.

A very old kind of rice is called "black rice" or "forbidden rice." It is primarily grown in India's southern and north-eastern regions, which are referred to as Kavuni and Chak Hao, respectively. Very nutritious rice that is rich in fiber and antioxidants. For those who have diabetes, hormonal imbalances, or obesity, this rice is advised.

There are 236 calories, 45 grams of carbs, and 3 grams of protein in our regular Polished White rice. However, black rice has 200 calories, 34 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of protein. It is more nutrient-dense, higher in fiber, and black in color than any other rice, making it healthier. Take Kavuni Arisi for Instant Energy, weight loss, and strength.

In the hopes that you now have a better understanding of Kavuni arisi, allow me to explain how to prepare it for dessert or porridge.

Black rice should be soaked for at least eight hours after being rinsed two to three times. I used to let it soak all night. If you wish to cook rice but neglected to soak it for eight hours, soak it for one hour in hot, boiling water first.

After soaking the rice for eight hours, ground it finely (simply pulse it in a blender), and then cook it in a pressure cooker with water. Kavuni Arisi is used in a 1:4 ratio with 4 cups of water to make porridge. Maintain for 5 to 8 whistles, or until the rice is tender.
